Suki Masa — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

A place that doesn’t hold back. Very attentive and kind staff who know their portion of the meal well and are not afraid to speak their mind and recommend you what they think is best. The place allows you to order from sushi masa, and I must say, the sushi are elegantly made with fresh ingredients without holding back in the portions. As for the suki itself, this place is for premium meat lovers down to spend. I was able to try the A4 beef set. The meat was excellent itself with fine marbling, but that was not all. Each set came with a sizable amount udon, a bowl of rice, and an absolutely massive bowl of vegetables as well as dessert of custard pudding. As for the broth, had tried both dashi soup and tonkotsu soup but unfortunately not the miso tonkotsu. The tonkotsu had a deep, noticeable flavor of broth that seeped into the meat, making any seasoning whatsoever excessive. The dashi soup was light and great for those who seek to taste the raw flavor of high quality meat. If asked, I prefer the tonkotsu, but I recommend both. Well.. It's okay. Annoying they have nigiri sushi pictured on the menu as two pieces, but pricing is for just one piece. One has to read the fine print. Silly! So.. If the restaurant is going good to price this way, at least tell the waiters to help the customer understand this. I made my order, obviously we had two people. Not likely to order just individual pieces of nigiri sushi. Aircon blowing too strong. Terrible service really. Some of the sushi was a bit tough to chew. The seared tuna salad terrible. Mostly iceberg lettuce. The tuna pieces prepared days ago I think. Obviously not prepared when ordered and tasted sad. Enjoyed the rainbow roll. Might go again. Likely try other places...

It was amazing lunch, we are shabu lovers and it is one of the best we had in Bangkok and there is so many shabu restaurants now at every corner of the Sukhumvit and we were very nicely surprised by quality and they give every thing you need with decent Wakyu , all kind of nice vege, Udong and rice until dessert. And they were giving also the condiments for Kao tom at the end, was very attentive thinking !! It is not often that I make that good review, I definitely go there again soon this week already. And the staff were very well trained , nice and good service before you ask...
