The Andaman — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

One of my favorite casual restaurants is the Andaman, where we enjoyed a mix of menus from the Andaman (French/Western), Suki Masa (Hotpot) and Sushi Masa (Japanese). This allowed us to have Shabu, Sushi, Pasta, and Steak as well.

The Pork Shabu Set was quite good value, and comes with a side salad, noodles, vegetables, and dessert (custard caramel). We also ordered sushi rolls, which they allow you to order half a roll, and so we ordered half of a unagi roll and half of a rainbow roll, both were quite enjoyable. We also wanted something from the Western Menu, where we ordered the Spagetthi alla Vongole and the Thai style Beef Steak with Sticky Rice. The Spagetthi was okay, the steak was delicious with the jaew sauce, a nice medium as we ordered. At the end of the service, our server suggested we order some rice and eggs, and proceeded to cook us a nice porridge from the remaining shabu stock to finish our meal.

Overall, great for casual meals, especially if you want a wide selection of menu items. Also good for large groups (friends/family) as they have large tables available and private rooms as well. They have limited self parking available, but if full, they offer a free valet service.

The Andaman is a special place for me & my family. We came here for special occasions i.e., kids' birthday, family meal or new year celebration. The Andaman has everyone's favorite on the menu. We may be away sometimes due to the traffic in this zone.

I am back this evening with my mom & sister. We are very happy to meet our long time restaurant manager, and his attentive team.

We ordered Pork Sukiyaki set, Pizza (Truffle & Parma ham) & Grilled vegetable salad with scallop. We enjoyed watching the kansai sukiyaki in making & the family vibes around us.

Since we had too much carb, we did not ordered our favorite sushi this evening. We will keep it for next time.

วันนี้ ขอเขียนถึง The Andaman ร้านอาหารในดวงใจ เป็นสถานที่พิเศษของครอบครัว ไล่ไปตั้งแต่สมัยลูกยังเล็ก ก็ จะพากันมาจัดกิจกรรม เลี้ยงวันเกิด เลี้ยงปีใหม่ อะไรๆ ว่ากันไป ดังนั้นอาหารทุกมื้อที่ ดิ อันดามัน จึงกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง ของ childhood memory ของลูกๆ และ feel good moment ของพวกเรา

เราอาจจะห่างไปบ้างบางช่วงเพราะยอมแพ้ความรถติดของย่านทองหล่อ วันนี้สบายๆเลยพาคุณแม่กับน้องสาวมาทานอาหารเย็นได้เจอคุณผู้จัดการยืนหนึ่ง ดูแลเราอย่างดีตลอดมา

วันนี้ สั่ง สลัด พิซซ่า และ set sukiyaki ที่คุณพนักงานปรุงได้อย่างพอดิบพอดี ปิดท้ายด้วยข้าวผัดกระเทียม อิ่ม อร่อย

ส่วนบรรยากาศ วันนี้ที่ร้านมีลูกค้าครอบครัวหลายโต๊ะ คึกคัก อบอุ่น คะ เรื่องทีมงานเขียนมากจะกลายเป็นอวย เอาเป็นว่าเรารักที่นี่เป็นพิเศษ ทุกอย่างก็ดีไปหมดคะ

เสียดายว่า กิน carb กันเยอะไปหน่อย เลยไม่ได้สั่ง ซูชิ...

I thought it was an Ok Sushi place, given I do have japanese food a lot in Japan and HongKong, not overwhelmed with the 4.4 points review, It wasn't bad but wasn't amazing wither, I would deduct 1 star off the food quality, and 1 star off the service. Served by 2 confused email waiter, slow and unresponsive, the sushi came after 5 minutes of order but the Ice Green tea came after 10 minutes.... and the 2nd Maki waited 15 minutes- Came during Sunday Lunch time Not...
