BBQ38 Ribbs & Cold Cuts — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

I checked the menu here before coming and appreciated the ”no service charge” mention on the menu, when I arrived priced went up 10-20% and there is now service charge 10% + VAT 7% not included in the new (higher) prices. Overall, price increase is not a big deal, the food is good and worth the price I think, however when you add 10% service charge you need to make sure that the service is worth this 10% additional cost. I had to kinda yell Hello three times before someone noticed me when I entered the restaurant, then I had to stand up to search someone to take my order after a few minutes. Not the best experience on that side, the end was better when the waitress/manager and manager/owner were at the counter looking at me to see if I needed something. I still put 4 stars because the food was good (especially the ribs) and I think that’s the most important, but now that you charge 10% more for service, better make sure this service is here. I don’t need much service, just finding someone when I need something is enough. Also, the restaurant is nicely designed, I was quite surprised to see such a nice place in that small soi, but the chairs are not very comfortable...

We visited this restaurant as a family of three, and had a wonderful dining experience. We ordered four dishes, and every single one was delicious. The standout for us was definitely the pork ribs, which were thick, tender, and full of flavor.

Another highlight was their house-brewed beer. It was surprisingly smooth and flavorful, definitely worth a try if you enjoy craft beers.

We also tried their new dipping sauce served with the fish and chips, and it was fantastic. The flavor was well-balanced and added an extra kick that elevated the dish.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We learned that the owner personally designed the entire space, which made us even more impressed by the attention to detail and creativity behind it.

We went to this restaurant following reviews on google maps and because it was not far from our place of residence. The food was really very good with excellent value for money. We chose the pork ribs, with no regrets! Generous in meat, soft, tasty and served with several side dishes (mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables...) and equally good sauces. At the end of the meal it started to rain and we hadn't taken an umbrella. The owner tried to find us a taxi, in vain. He then kindly offered to drive us to the condo with his own car.
