I visited last night with a friend and we were both very impressed with Carito's. Located on the 3rd floor, their menu offers a variety of South American dishes--all tempting to order, it's tough to limit yourself! We had a few starters (a cheese bread that reminded me of a soft, chewy Cheez-It roll, sea bream on watermelon, and cuttlefish tostadas), and a couple of shared dishes (a sous vide chicken dish and a beef tortellini dish with a sauce that was so good we also used it on a corn side dish). We finished with Oaxacan Old Fashioned cocktails. This place is a hidden gem, that provides friendly and personal service that feels like fine dining but in a relaxed casual atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again with my gal...

Can’t get enough of the pan de queso (cheese bread) — I would go back just for that! Flavours were bold, exciting and beautifully presented. I loved the tiger prawn ceviche, steak tartare and hamachi dish. Everything else we had was also delicious. Overall great value!

A unique take on Latin American cuisine by the team behind Sarnies — the experience here did not disappoint. From the decor, to table setup, to the presentation of each dish, it shows how much thought went into every detail.

They have an extensive list for wine, sangria, cocktails, and also ferments made in-house for non-alcoholic options. My friends and I ordered a carafe of the orange sangria to share and we...

Carito’s is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance. The lighting created the perfect mood, cozy yet vibrant, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dinner or a special date night.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that increased the experience.

Every dish had a creative Latin-inspired twist that kept surprising me in the best way. I tried a variety of plates, from hamachi to perfectly cooked steak, and each one was flavorful and beautifully balanced. The sangria was so delicious that I couldn’t stop ordering it!

I will...

Stellar experience. Food was impeccable. The steaks were faultless (don’t remember the exact name of the dish). The prawn/shrimp dish was also a favorite of ours on the night. Definitely returning as it’s so close to home as well. Randomly came across this on my visit to the new Sarnies outlet downstairs (that’s also worth a visit. I think it’s called Sarnies Cantina). Small confusion was in regards to parking. No clear parking in front of the restaurant. Best to call the restaurant ahead of your dinner to figure out where to park. They do have a Muvmi tuktuk to shuttle you to the restaurant as it’s a little walk from the parking lot. Overall really good stuff. Worth a visit.
