I almost never make a 5 star or 1 star reviews. I mean 5 star pizza, we must have some expectations on the food when we enter the restaurant. If you expect dog poo, OK, then a pizza is 5 star. Normally 3 star is good and 4 is excellent. 5 star, that is free food and they wash your car while you eat the free food

I love Turkish, Persian and Lebanon food so I was very happy when I passed this restaurant. I have lived here for almost 20 years and this restaurant is new for me. But this was bad, very bad and with a very hefty price tag.

I asked for at pot of tea, they confirmed that they had ea pots. No sugar but milk. I asked for Dolmas and baklava. Isn't baklava the best with the Turkish, Persian and Lebanese kitchen?

I love Dolmas both in cabbage and in wine leafs. But this was bad and I could not eat all of it. I asked for my tea several times, actually so many times I started to feel stupid.

I had finished what I wanted to have of the Dolmas when finally the tea came. A big pot, but just enough in the pot to fill up the very small cup. I mean, why bother fill it in the pot

The baklava, I have had Turkish, Persian and Lebanese baklava. And we had a fight in Beirut over which baklava was the best. I said the Turkish and of course, they said it was the Lebanese.

Anyway, all baklava I have had have been sticky with all the yummy stuff. But here, they were so hard I had to use a chisel.

I asked for the bill, I told them that I would not pay for the tea as it didn't came until I was finished with the food. I was falling of the chair when I got the bill. 150 Bath for the baklava and 200 Baht for the Dolmas.

For this money I get a nice meal in a...

When I came to Bangkok, I saw a new restaurant on the way the most frequently, so I went there. It is a Lebanese restaurant. I had to study the menu for a long time. There were many kinds of menus and they all looked similar. After all, the menu I chose was a lamb combo, which came with a salad and a strange jam-like thing. I ordered bread because I heard that it is to spread on bread. I think the taste of the ingredients themselves is important in food, but the sauce is also very important. In a good way, it is not stimulating, and in a bad way, the food has no special taste and is all bland, and even the sauce is not unique. The food tastes nothing like it looks. And crucially, when calculated, 10% of the service charge and 7% of the tax are added. This alone is about 100 baht. Usually, separate service charges and taxes are imposed on hotels and luxury restaurants. However, in this shabby restaurant, not just one, but two separate things are added. Hard to believe. Even if I try to think positively, it's hard to understand. This restaurant is likely to disappear soon unless the price is seriously adjusted. To be honest, even if I pay only 10% of what I ate today and eat the same food, I don't think it will be easy to agree. There is a reason why there are...

Craved kebab and stoped at Rawabina for Sunday lunch.

I’d say the dishes are reasonably priced, but quality and serving are somewhat questionable for me.

I ordered a lamb kebab, which the menu indicates is served with pita bread. I had expected this to be a complete meal (protein, carb, veggies) but it took me a while to find the pita bread on the plate. It was literally 1 thin triangle hidden under the kebab at the bottom of the plate. This meant I needed to order bread separately. I’m sure it didn’t cost much (I’ll get to that later), but it would’ve been good to know this from the start.

The lamb kebab itself was nothing special. It’s 4 thin pieces of meat that tasted like kebab, but didn’t seem freshly prepared. It was tougher than I expected and the grilled eggplant that came with it looked sad.

The icing on the cake was when I asked for the check and was given a piece of paper that had THB529 written on it and nothing else. No breakdown of what we’d ordered and even when I asked where it was, the server just smiled and pointed to the attached QR code. I did check with one of the other staff members and she said that they ALWAYS give a proper check with everything a customer ordered. So,...

The pics looked so promising online. But I'm guessing those are leftover from a previous owner. The shawarma was dry and especially the lamb, both were leathery. Old meat reheated. Salad also wasn't fresh. Joghurt was sour and not creamy. I asked for a side of pomegranate dressing (as listed in their menu), but the staff had no idea what I was talking about. Another clue they are not the original owners. They brought something, but it wasn't pomegranate. It was more like oil with thyme. The waiter asked how the food was, and I told him honestly the meat was not edible. He just said "thank you". On the positive side, the falafel and hummus were good. Despite advertising "full bar" they only have one beer available- Small Heineken for 117 baht. It's a disgrace to the rich food culture of Lebanon. We will not return.
