I usually don't write bad reviews at all but thought I'd share my experience to warn others before coming here. I've had many Thai massages during my two weeks in Thailand and coming here is my biggest regret.
I came on 12/9/19 in the afternoon. My masseuse name started with a P (forgot her name)
Red Flag #1: I attempted to call ahead and make a reservation but no one picked up. Red Flag #2: There was no front desk staff. No one spoke English. Red Flag #3: No customers getting a massage despite the site saying they were all booked for the morning + early afternoon.
I decided to stay and opted for the 2 hour Thai massage.
The person doing my massage talked the ENTIRE time to her coworker. Definitely not relaxing.
In addition - she bent my leg weird.. my knee ended up locking and snapping. I went to the doctor back home and found out I sprained a muscle and a ligament JUST FROM HER TURNING MY KNEE. This will take 4-6 weeks to heal. She also massage over my bones, was aggressive in my bottom area and aggravated my Sciatic nerve. I'm still aching from areas in massage over a week later. THIS IS NOT NORMAL.
It did not seem as though she was paying attention to my massage at all and more focused on chatting with her coworker... as you can see from my injuries here.
This was my last day in Thailand. I felt my best prior to coming to this massage parlor. And instead of feeling more relaxed after, I left home feeling more pain. It has been over a week since I've been back home and I'm still in pain. Hopefully there isn't any permanent damage due to the unprofessional massage.
I came here due to the good reviews.. My experience was terrible, and I do not recommend coming here. Probably my biggest regret due to the damage it has...
Read moreThere are several massage places in this Terminal 21 area. I did not know of any in particular so I checked some reviews and ended up going to this Massage@Le. It was not so noticeable from the main street. Shoes are taken off at the entrance and then you walk up the stairs on the 2nd floor. I got there at 9.30 pm and did not make any advanced reservations. The gentleman at the reception speaks English. I had 1 hour foot massage and 1 hour Thai massage. There was only one other person having a foot massage and some others having body massage at separated location so it did not feel crowded. The shop is clean and well maintained. My masseuse name was Sang and she did both the foot and Thai. Maybe it was because I was not knowing how tired I was but the Thai massage was fabulous. Highly recommend this. Foot and Thai were 290 Baht each so paid total 580 Baht. I asked the gentleman if I could give Sang a tip as I truly felt much lighter and relaxed and gave her 100 Baht tip. I had some chronic lower back pains and that was also much more relieved. Other places maybe nice just the same but this experience was justly nice for a one night...
Read moreI had a rather disappointing massage experience. I recall it being much better when I visited last September—I even posted an Instagram story praising the place. However, the last two massages I had here were quite underwhelming to me. On the very last visit, we went for a 90-minute foot massage, but the masseuses only worked for 60mins. We had to double-check with the receptionist and she in turn asked them to complete the remaining 30 minutes (receptionist seemed apologetic so at that point in time, I was still not that angry). Unfortunately, my masseuse seemed tired and rushed through the remaining session especially at the neck massage part, and because my friend was also just doing her neck massage beside me, we could clearly spot the difference in massage speed and skill levels between the two masseuses. Mine was speeding her way through and my friend was also laughing after seeing my head massage looking like a salon’s hair wash.. this really makes for an unsatisfactory experience this...
