Kungthong Seafood Rama4 — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

First day in Bangkok and my brother was telling me I have to try this if I am ever in Bangkok. Being sceptical, I went over with him to try. Myself, my kid(6yrs old) and my wife were there with my brother, his wife and my niece.

We were greeted by the pleasant staffs and were guided to the aircon dining area. Sat down and were introduced to some of the dishes. Wanted to order more but I stick with the recommended fried fish, pepper crab, and later we added the ice cream. We ordered also some other vege and soup but what really made me surprise was the way they made the fried fish.

The fried fish was fried tastefully, and there is a bowl of sauce to go along. The bowl of sauce have some mango slices, chilli, onions etc. The amazing feeling comes about when I spread the sauce over the fish and I cannot stop eating the fish!!!!it was so nice!!!!!

Next up is the pepper crab, the way it's made is different from how singapore makes it's crab. This is green and the taste is unique. You just wish that the crab was bigger because the sauce is so good.

Last, would be the ice cream. The specially crafted ice cream that is being past down from past generation is only available here and trust me!!!! This coconut ice cream is really good....I cant believe I have the whole bowl to myself despite knowing I got to hit the gym harder tmr

Totally worth the calories and I wish to comment more on the food but it's best to just say "Go Try, you will not regret this choice" some of the locals do not even know this gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And fyi, the spread that I had was around thb 3750. And I think its worthwhile considering the generous...

The issue is not with the taste of the food, but with the overall attitude toward service. As a regular customer, I have observed that while there is one staff member who is consistently kind and attentive, the majority of the team often display unwelcoming, unfriendly demeanors.

On my most recent visit, not only was my order forgotten, but no staff came to check whether I wanted to cancel the grilled prawns after a long delay. I was left waiting even after finishing my meal, only to be eventually served undercooked prawns. I had to personally bring the plate to the staff to show them the issue, yet they still refused to allow me to cancel the order.

This experience was extremely disappointing and reflects a significant decline in service standards compared to how good it used to be. I sincerely hope that the restaurant owner will pay more attention to maintaining quality and retraining the team to provide service with a better attitude. The potential of the restaurant is still there, but without a serious commitment to improving service, it may continue to lose...

It is one of a decent Seafood restaurant in Bangkok. 5 🌟 for the food. They have interesting choice of food in the menu. Some dishes is quite rare to find somewhere else to cook like this kitchen. Seafood is fresh. We like fish the most. Quality of fish is good. Stir-Fried clams is delicious and unique taste. The way they cook stir fried morning glory is interesting and it's delicious. Love it. Deep fried Seabass in fish sauce with mango salad is top notch 👍. The way they cook deep fried fish is perfect, super crispy out side but underneath of the crispy skin is moist, soft and sweet. I haven't had such a good deep fried fish for a long time.
