Daya Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Lipe

Was recommended here by a Thai friend as well as the locals working at the dive shop. Apparently this is the first restaurant on the island, and also right behind is where the fisherman bring their catches in. The seafood price is affordable (and not exorbitant like the other restaurants along Pattaya beach). Came here for dinner for 3 nights, the seafood is always fresh. You can choose and ask them to BBQ it for you, or order off the menu. The grilled squid is excellent, so is the fish tom yam and fish curry. Staff is also friendly and service is fast as well. Many foreigners are the majority of customers here. Do not get mad if the staff does not sound polite. They have problems with communicating in English, but they do not intentionally speak that way.

The food is quite slow and unorganised operation, but it is still worth trying this restaurant. If it is slow or no one comes to take you to a table or no one gives you the menu, just talk to the staff. It would be easier to be proactive...

The food is nice and prices are normal for beach location restaurants. You get a good price value with chicken cashewnut big portion for 200 TBH for 2 persons. Also the fruit plate for 100TBH is quite cheap in comparison to other beach restaurants. Also they put tables on the beach every evening with candles, so it is a great location for a romantic dinner.
