Food Village Night Market at Chaweng Lake — Restaurant in Ko Samui

2 years ago I would eat here every day, the food was good and prices fair.

Just had food here now, moo gra taem (หมูกระเทียม) and water.. 280 baht.

This was half the price when I was last here. Add to that the pork was full of fat.

Dunno what’s happened but I was shocked and won’t be back. Such a shame greed has ruined it.

Plenty of other places you can eat for the same price or less, sit on a comfy seat, not be hassled by flies and the Thai boxing cars, enjoy aircon and the food tastes better.

Feels like quite a ripoff. The seats are uncomfortable, table shaky and practically doesn't make me wanna stay long.

The food are expensive, kway teow chicken noodles 100 baht, more exp than fried rice? The usual price is 50 baht. I see they strategically not place prices on their banners and don't show u the menu so they can charge u a higher price. Who knows if its actually 100 baht. Not trustworthy might not return.
