If I could leave 100 stars I would

Our first time back to the samui in 4 years, we tried 2 different restaurants a day for 9 days, being severely disappointed I decided to come to this place after the last time we were here it was just markets, cocktails and live bands. We were met by this huge out door restaurant, looking authentic af, we sat.

Ordered some cocktails that turned up within 5 -7 minutes and were amazing, not over poured methylated spirit cocktails that most places serve, I asked for non farang spicy food.

The food came out, as soon as I laid eyes on the food my heart began to race, I knew this was it. My green curry was an assault on the senses, absolutely amazing, papaya salad was off the chain, spicy and local af, wife got a creamy Tom yum that was a work of art. Got pineapple fried rice for the kids(both under 4) they smashed it. We came back here every night until we left ( total of 4 nights) and not one single disappointment.

If you love real Thai unwesternised food get here, enjoy the relaxed vibe, hectic cocktails and amazing food.

The worst service in Thailand. Zero stars. Stay away!! Our group was looking at posters and talking to a lady. She was then very rudely shooed away by the owner, Anna I believe and ordered another waitress to seat us. We asked to be seated on the other side on the bamboo seating, but were refused. It turns out she chased away the other restaurant owner, on the right side. Anna then came to take our order. Very rude, abrupt and snappy when replying to any queries. Wrong drink, not as described. When we asked to change it, she refused and said have to pay angrily. We couldn't bare anymore of her rudeness, cancelled order and paid for the drinks. Ended up sitting on the opposite restaurant. Service here was great and as expected of Thai hospitality. Anna is awful, looking at other reviews this seems a frequent problem. How does she have any customers or staff. DON'T EAT AT THIS PLACE! It was the worst dinner we had in our 4 weeks of South East asia Journey (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand). We ordered Mussaman Curry, and it was almost cold. Also, we ordered samosas, and we thought we would get some for 150thb. But we received just two of them! I wouldn't mind if the food wasn't really good if it were cheap BUT it was the most expensive food we had in Thailand. The day before, we had curry and a big french fries in a 4 Star hotel restaurant at the beach and paid less!!!
