Avoid this place like a plague!!! We got food poisoning and entirely ruined out 2 week trip to Koh tao. Sadly I didn’t take a picture of the cordon bleu cut open, but i do have a pic of the whole dish.. Here the story goes. We ordered chicken cordon bleu and were shocked to realize it was raw in the middle after having some bites of the outer parts. After pointing it out to the owner, he did not apologize or even seem surprised. All he did was take this chicken back to the kitchen to refire it. The kitchen lady took the exact same thing back 3 minutes later and did not simply replace the dish as any professional restaurant should have. Ok. At least it seemed cooked this time, but everything else on the plate was unchanged (and risked cross contamination). Also no apologies from kitchen lady, who actually even rolled her eyes at me when I asked to change the fork and knife that I used with that chicken. Unsuspecting as we were, since the chicken looked fine then, and we didn’t want to waste the food, we still ate the dish… I woke up in the middle of the night feeling the worst and vomited violently a couple times. My partner did the next day, after feeling under the weather for a little longer. Then we both had fevers and diarrhea. Anyways you get the point. The best week on the island was ruined as we had to stay in and watch everything we ate like a hawk. Oh and in the end, still nothing, no even a single word of apology from the owner when we paid. He happily charged us the whole bill in the end, possibly knowing what could happen to us from that salmonella infested plate. Kitchen lady still rolled her eyes at me. If I were you, I would 100% avoid this restaurant. If not, do the very least and never order any western cuisine they may be unfamiliar with cooking.

I recently visited this beachfront restaurant and had a mixed experience. Here’s a detailed account of my visit: Food and Drink: - Mango Shake:Smooth and enjoyable. - Wide Noodle Soup:Not to my taste, but I hadn't tried it before, so I have no comparison. - Papaya Salad:Tasteless, though it wasn't too spicy as I requested. It seemed the veggies/fruits quality was low (maybe is off season?!) - Fried Onion Rings:Crispy but oily and bland. - Deep-Fried Morning Glory:Chosen from a picture on Google reviews, it was crispy but also lacked flavor. Service: - The waiter who took my order was exceptional—genuine, gentle, with a nice smile, and very helpful without being intrusive. He’s probably the best waiter I’ve encountered in Thailand. Food took time to arrive (slow, which is often the case on my experience). Location and Price: - I was served right on the beach, which was lovely. - The total bill was 350 THB, which is a good price for a beachfront restaurant. Here’s the breakdown: - Papaya Salad: 70 THB (though listed as 60 THB on the menu) - Fried Morning Glory: 80 THB - Wide Noodle Soup: 80 THB - Onion Rings: 60 THB - Mango Shake: 60 THB Overall Experience: - Despite the excellent service and great location, the food was disappointing and bland. This is unusual for me as I usually enjoy Thai food, but this time it fell flat. Maybe I chose the wrong dishes or it was an off day. I won’t be returning, but I hope others might have a better experience.

We’ve been wanting to check out this restaurant since last year but didn’t get to. Finally, we came to try their food this year and we really like it especially the whole fish menu. The first day we came here, we ordered Stir Fried Morning Glory and Deep Fried Whole Fish in Fish Sauce (this comes with mango salad dressing… ā¤ļø). I’m Thai and my husband is Indian. We both love this fish dish very much. They really made it well according to Thai’s standard. They offer variety of cuisine here — continental breakfast, general Thai food, and Specialty Thai food which locals would go for. Their specialty thai food menu is quite interesting here unlike any other places on the island. We’ve never tried their continental stuff, so can’t comment on it but most of the Thai dishes we have dried were all good. We came back here a few more times and tried different things like Fried Fish Cakes (comes with sweet chili sauce), Pineapple Fried Rice and and later on we tried Vegetable Soup with Tofu and Chicken. They were generous with the amount of vegetables inside the soup, love it! We will keep coming back to this place and try many more things here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant have plenty of seats and it opens up to the beach. Very pleasant to dine here.
