TIK Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Tao

Wanted to go to this place, but no one was there and the lady who sat next to the entrance started shouting something about a lunch break or something even though it’s not indicated on Google Maps location. If you’re the owner of this place, it is very easy to add correct working times to your restaurant. For those who are considering this place know that at 15:20 it was closed. As for the lady I’m not even sure if it was the owner, but if it was this is outrageous. Why would you shout at your own customers. Even if you’re closed why can’t you just politely say so, instead...

🍀 VERY DELICIOUS FOOD!!

We stumbled upon this local café and liked it so much so that we kept coming back again and again! Every dish on the menu is delicious. And it's the prices are one of the cheapest of Koh Tao.

We tried the Papaya Salad (they can spice it up just right), Fried Rice with Chicken, and the Pad Thai with Chicken All of them were absolutely delicious. Honestly, the Pad Thai and Fried Rice are the best we've had so far during our 2-month stay in Thailand!

I had a massuman curry and it was very nice. The food wasn’t the issue. The service was actually quite bad unfortunately. They’re clearly understaffed. Took nearly an hour for our food which is the longest I’ve waited in 7 months. Was a bit awkward because they were moving people out of their chairs to accommodate others. We had to get two dishes to takeaway because of an unrelated illness and the curry was put in a bag, which when you get home is not the greatest method to unpack....
