We had lunch here and ordered the boiled chicken with rice, a smoothie, and a coconut.

First of all, the chicken was quite disappointing — it came with skin and lots of fat, with many chewy sinews. The pieces were not very good quality, and overall it just wasn’t tasty. Considering the quality, the price was also not the cheapest.

The coconut was nice and fresh, but the smoothie wasn’t good at all.

Also, be careful with the water on the table. The water in the pitchers is free, but the bottled water is not — so make sure you know what you’re taking, otherwise you’ll end up paying extra.

On top of that, the service was quite poor. Nobody even greeted us when we came in, even though we were friendly and polite. It felt like they didn’t really care whether we were there or not.

This place was so cute, especially for the vibe that you’re getting a home-cooked meal from mom. It was an older Thai woman and her son, and they were both very friendly and quick to make food. With my order I even wanted to alter it slightly and she accommodated my request with a big smile and nod. I came here after a month of visiting all over Thailand and it was one of my top meals.
