Wasana Restaurant Koh Tao — Restaurant in Ko Tao

Absolutely the best fried chicken rice on the island! This place has won my heart with its incredible food. The portions are generous and come at a really fair price. The family who owns and operates the restaurant are incredibly kind, and they clearly take great care of the place.

I've dined here numerous times, but my standout favorites have to be the fried rice chicken, the massaman chicken, and the chicken sandwich – they're just out of this world! Oh, and don't even get me started on the mango shake – it's a total delight!

The service is speedy, and you can tell that the food is prepared with the freshest ingredients. This spot has become my go-to for a reason, and I can't recommend it...

As many reviews had stated the owner really isn’t very friendly and seemed bothered to have customers. It was full when we arrived but happily waited for ten minutes for a table. It took a while before we got the menus after sitting down, and again the owner seems very bothered. Ordered Penang curry with shrimp. What I got was rice, sauce and 6 shrimps, not a single vegetable. When I asked why there weren’t any the owner got very irritated. I ended up buying another one with only vegetables just to mix them. Really liked this nice place, a short walk from.the pier. The food is very good cooked from fresh ingredients. The menu has a decent range of dishes including Thai and Western foods. The prices are very reasonable with Thai dishes ranging from 80 to 120 baht on average, while a burger will set you back around 200 baht. They also do a short and simple breakfast menu.

I would highly recommend visiting Wasana, my wife and I have eaten at least one meal here almost everyday of our 2 week...
