Bamboo Bar TATT00 — Restaurant in Krabi Province

A and Bo, the bar owners, are truly some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. They were so accommodating and truly did everything in their power to make sure me and my friends had a great time. They had a nice array of different drinks and their cocktails were AMAZING. Their whiskey sours & margs were some of the best I have ever tasted.

Since me and my friends were there during a quiet time, it really meant the world to us that A & Bo went out of their way to make sure we had the best time in Railay beach. They also worked with the other businesses on the street so for example if you wanted pizza from the shop down walking street, they would deliver it to you at the bar.

A & Bo also let me DJ for a little while which was awesome and taught me how to make some cocktails. Their family is truly wonderful and we had a great time - one we will never forget. Counting down the days until I can go to bamboo...

They solicit you by standing out on the street and offering good deals but the drinks are way below quality . We ordered a mojito and tequila sunrise but the mojito tasted really bad that it was not drinkable . Bar tender told us since we sipped it we could not change it , I would understand if we took gulps of the drink but how would we know it was bad if we hadn’t tasted it ? It was still full to the brim . Anyway, waiters are really nice but you can see they’re all afraid of the Thai bartenders / managers as the waiters wanted to help but they respected authority that told them not to do anything . We even insisted on paying for something different but the bartender then refused to make the drink because of our complaint....

Best bar in Railay! We came here every night to kick off our evening as well as grab a nightcap after dinner. Laidback atmosphere, great music, and A (owner/bartender) was awesome whether he was serving up Changs or mango daiquiris. Ben (the tattoo artist) also did a great job on both mine and my partner’s bamboo stick tattoos! You can also get food down the street and they’ll bring it to you when it’s ready (tip: the pizza at Railay Story just a few doors down is a great late night snack). I miss it already and we will definitely be back next time...
