Don’t believe the reviews. Not only will you shell out a 1,000 Baht/person on the buffet, but the sushi isn’t even good (or the wagu- worst beef I’ve ever had). Thought I was paying a good price for good food, but even worse than bad food is paying good money for bad food. Literally the most bland food I’ve ever had and that’s quite surprising. Not a single roll or side dish or item that I ordered was worth ordering again. Waaay too much hype over this place. I’ve tasted $2 sushi that’s leaps and bounds above this. There’s a sushi place down the street called sushi sababa or something where each roll blows your mind, just do yourself a favor and go there. Oh and the krab rolls? Fake. I will say the fish seemed fresh, but as bland as it can possibly come. First time a meal in Krabi has disappointed me, first time sushi has disappointed me this much, each roll looks packed and amazing… how can you have so much and make it so tasteless??? UPDATE: my husband had SEVERE DIARRHEA WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF...

Perhaps I'm not used to the hospitality rules in Thailand but the only gripe I have was upon entering, no one came to greet and seat us, I had to walk inside up to the counter area to announce ourselves. Apart from that, the rest of the service was excellent. The prices are in the higher range for phuket but well worth it.

We just popped in for a quick snack before our next tour. Now the food, just wow, we had the soba noodle with prawn and tempura Maki. The best soba I have ever tasted and the sushi was just heavenly. I would assume that everything on the menu is made to this impeccable standard. Also decided to try some umeshi (plum wine) and I would highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't tried it before. If I ever go back to Ao Nang, I will certainly come back...
