Mango mango’s — Restaurant in Krabi Province

The place is nice and the food is decent. But that’s like the only positive thing you can say about this place. The staff is friendly but you wait ages for your order even when it’s not crowded. We waited more than 20 minutes for our drinks and almost an hour for our food. The food didn’t came at the same time, so my friend and I couldn’t eat together.

The drinks were okay but I don’t understand why it took more than 20 minutes to make two iced americanos.

I had the smoked salmon and mango toast which was okay but nothing special. My friend tried the salmon mango salad. First the forgot the quinoa and when she told the staff about it missing they didn’t understood her properly and made her salad all over again (which took more or less 20 minutes). With the second salad they forgot the quinoa again and it took again quite a while till she finally got a really really small portion of it.

They didn’t even offered my friend something for her inconveniences. Only after she alles for it they offered like a 10% discount.

So all in all for the price you pay it’s not satisfying at all.

If you wanna have a drink for your Instagram story, it’s fine but if you want to get something good I recommend going...

A FUIR ! PERSONNEL irrespectueux NOURRITURE immonde PRIX exhorbitant

Alors premièrement, vous êtes face à un personnel antipathique. Ils ne sont pas accueillants, vous ne verrez jamais un sourire. Vous avez clairement l’impression de les déranger, alors que le restaurant contenait 2 personnes ….

Deuxièmement, la qualité du poulet est horrible ! On commande des tartines en lisant les ingrédients décrits, arrivée à table, seul 2 ingrédients sur 4 était présents.

Avant même de manger la tartine, visuellement les ingrédients sont manquants, je le signale, on me dit qu’ils sont sous l’œuf… j’insiste mais ils insistent également. Je décide de goûter bien que perplexe, les ingrédients sont absents. J’appelle une seconde fois, ils insistent encore en me disant que c’est bien présent, j’essaie de goûter une autre partie de la tartine, les ingrédients sont toujours absents. J’appelle une troisième fois la serveuse qui a été désagréable dès le départ, et là je me laisse pas faire. Ils me prenaient clairement pour une imbecile. Je lui donne l’assiette, elle l’a fait goûter au personnel du bar (bonjour l’hygiene). Il a constaté sans le formuler ce que je disais, car il a pris en photo l’assiette, sûrement pour faire remonter le problème en cuisine.

Devinez quoi ? 1) Aucune excuse … bien sûr, on reste sur la même dynamique …. 2) après avoir pris mon assiette pleine, ils ne me disent rien. Ni si il m’apporte une nouvelle assiette (complète cette fois), il ne me propose pas non plus autre chose à la place.

J’attend ENCORE ET TOUJOURS ET RIEN.

Nous avons fini par demander la note, payer et partir. Ni un merci, ni une excuse et ni un au revoir de leurs parts.

Oh, ai je oublier de dire que pour un simple breakfast, 2 tartine, 2 jus et 1 café, on en a eu pour plus de 1000 bat. Soit l’équivalent de 30 francs suisse 😂😂. L’équivalent de 2 repas simple en suisse. Vous vous rendez compte ?? Une qualité absente et un prix qui ne correspond pas au coût de production et des charges du pays.

En bref, c’est complètement irrespectueux, certains nous prennent pour des chiens avec un portefeuille européen et ne s’en cache pas, leurs comportements reflète totalement cet état d’esprit.

Si parfois, les touristes sont de réels problèmes dans leurs comportements, certains locaux ne sont pas mieux et ce n’est pas que des exceptions, ça arrive plus souvent qu’on...

The pictures of the food on the menu are completely inaccurate. They show glorified versions of the badly presented bland tasting food that you are given. The food is very expensive and I have had expensive breakfasts in Thailand before that were actually worth the money but this place was terrible. I ordered bacon and eggs which the picture showed three pieces of bacon. When served I received only one sad piece of bacon.
