If I could give 0 stars I would. Byyy the wayyyy - I’m not leaving this review out of anger or spite, but because I want to ensure that other people going through this do not panic. Just know I will be spiritually watching over you all.
Having been travelling for two months now, I was very much in need of a cuzza. I thought Monday night curry night! But boy I was wrong. After seeing tandoori nights on TikTok I thought I would give it a shot so I hop skipped and jumped my way over there. The menu was vast, so much selection - but in my heart all I wanted was a butter chicken. Thinking this was the safe option, ohh what a naive little girl. The bill came to a whopping total of 600BAHT (40baht for one portion of mango chutney) pricey but I very happily paid it none the less! Silly silly little girl, way to make a mountain out of a molehill (subtle foreshadowing for the expenses to come later) with bag in hand giddy little lily trotted back to enjoy her curry in peace. Which I did, gobbling down the glistening glizzy chicken and the slutty saffron rice (the naan was mid). YUM YUM YUM IN MY TUM - but unfortunately it did not want to stay there. I then continued my night as per, with buckets in hand and food baby in belly. It just had to be too good to be true.
Time: 05:15AM Place: hostel bed 8 person mixed down, Krabi Before I could even open my eyes I seemed to find myself hanging over a toilet seat. I think you can use your imagination a tad here! An acidic rendition of my curry from the night before lingered on the tip of my tongue. Normally this would be a good thing, however, not the time. After a loooonnnggggg 5 hours of laying on the cold wet hostel bathroom floor. I finally gained the strength to summon my friends to go to hospital (obviously taking a grab for the 5 minute walk). It was a pleasant surprise to exit my carriage with unsoiled knickers! A few needles later and somehow I’ve racked up a 28000BAHT bill…. It has now been confirmed that I have contracted food poisoning (surprise surprise) and I am now connected to a drip. Some difficult decisions are currently being made on whether or not I should take the antibiotics (the full moon party is in 2 days and I can’t drink or smoke on them)
Anyways, currently speaking to yall from my hospital bed, I hope this has been helpful. I love my...
Read moreI travelled from Bangalore to Krabi. During our stay in Krabi, we had the pleasure of dining at Tandoori Nights for dinner on three consecutive nights—and each experience was absolutely exceptional!
Food The taste of the food was truly lip-smacking! On the first two days, we opted for vegetarian dishes, and we were amazed by the variety and flavors. We tried the Dal Fry with Ghee Tadka, Dum Aloo, and Aloo Gobi, all of which were absolutely fantastic. Paired with plain Basmati Rice, every bite was packed with rich and authentic flavors. We also ordered Aloo Paratha, which was equally delicious and made to perfection.
On the third day, we decided to try non-vegetarian dishes and were not disappointed! The Chicken Biryani was the star of the meal—fragrant, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. It’s easily one of the best biryanis we've had!
Service The service at Tandoori Nights was top-notch! The staff was incredibly courteous, welcoming, and attentive. A special shoutout to Kush, Ajay and Suraj—they went above and beyond to make our dining experience delightful. They took the time to understand our preferences and recommended dishes that suited our taste. Their warm hospitality and impeccable service truly elevated our experience. You visit this restaurant, do ask for them for your dishes selection.
Sometimes you have to wait for 30-40 mins when it's overcrowded, as they cook food fresh.
Final Thoughts Tandoori Nights became a highlight of our Krabi trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Indian food. Whether you’re vegetarian or non-vegetarian, their menu has something for everyone. A perfect place to savor delicious food, complemented by...
