This Thai Indian restaurant is a simple spot. Its not too far from the boat ferry ticket point on the far left end of Ao Nong beach. I found the food average to good. I had the butter chicken which was rather bland but the garlic naan was excellent. The chicken biriyani was nice and cooked to a western palate with not too much spice at all.

My wife and I visited Zaika as we were in desperate need of something other than Thai food! As we both know our Indian food, we didn’t know what to expect, but relied on the good reviews on trip advisor.

As soon as we arrived the waiters were friendly and service was attentive. The food arrived fairly quickly (but not too quickly!) which was nice. We ordered masala papad, cheese naan, jeera rice, raita, paneer tawa and chicken sizzler. Everything was delicious and we were very impressed. We asked for it to be extra spicy which was perfect.

In terms of cost, the meal itself was fairly expensive as far as Thailand goes- but on the flip side the portion size was big. Had we known this we would have ordered less as we couldn’t finish what we ordered despite trying our best!

Would definitely recommend Zaika for delicious Indian...
