The Last Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Best place to eat around Railey and one of my favourite spots in the whole of Thailand. In the restaurant part we were looked after by an older gentleman who spoke near perfect English and was great service. He would cater the food to exactly how you liked it, be it westerner spicy or Thai spicy. Can heavily recommend any of the curries whilst the papaya salads and the pad Thai were the best I'd tasted in Thailand and very cheap for how good they were, also offered an egg and tofu version for my vegetarian partner! Nextdoor is the bar side where a very nice man with absolutely perfect English runs it. He does an open mic night and is hands down brilliant at both singing and guitar. Large beers are cheap as are cocktails and after his guitar set, if there's no other events planned before, he djs. Terrible experience here: -Clearly and repeatedly asked for our steak to be well done. Could only eat half as it was medium rare. -Chicken burger did not have much chicken. Also asked for it to be well done and it was not. -Sign at restaurant says you can pay via QR code. This isn't true. Not one single ATM in Railay had cash this day. Nobody working in the restaurant had any interest in helping us, despite us offering every way imaginable to pay: paypal, revolut, card, even crypto. They just expected us to find a way to get cash. This led to us wasting 2 hours hunting for cash. -The door on the men's toilet is a tarp. -Terrible smell at the front of the restaurant, which to be fair may not be...

Great location in a great area. When I stayed in Railay Beach it is very relaxed but nightlife isn't the greatest only a few select bars to choose from. We stumbled upon this walking down by the river and as the name says it really is the last bar. Bar staff very friendly to everyone. Came back the day after and remembered us which was a nice touch. Cocktails very cheap and they have entertainment (both nights we were there) one of the barmen helps out with this, performs on stage with his guitar and was the main guy in the best fire show i saw while I was in Thailand. Would definitely recommend to go here if you are visiting Railay.
