Joy Beach Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

To be avoided! My boyfriend and I were looking forward to a seafront dinner. We ordered two pizzas and one pizza arrived relatively quickly. For the next one we had to wait 35min!!! So each one had to eat their pizza alone otherwise it would get cold. Bill was very high but service terrible. We complained about it and this is where it all gets really nasty. The owner came and was screaming how everyone know him and service is bad because there's a lot of people. Place was 2/3 empty tables btw. Eventually we got tired of his bad English, bad behaviour and talking to someone who was on a level of a angry child....

It's hard to find decent food in Railay. And the price is sky high in Railay west. Railay east is probably your best bet. Chanced upon this bar/restaurant in Railay East when we were walking back to our resort. We were craving for a decent coffee but couldn't find any in Railay (unfortunately) and decided to settle at Joy's for coffee and pizza. OMG... their coffee sucks BIG TIME. The worst cuppucino that I had in my life. Please don't ever consider getting a cuppa from here. But the pizza on the other hand was acceptable and decent but not great. So please if you can, SKIP THIS RESTAURANT...

Unethical merchant. Most credit card transaction fees in Krabi are 3%, but they charge 5%, claiming that the rate in Krabi is 5%, which is not true. I had two meals there: on September 30, I ordered oysters, grilled fish, grilled squid, and pizza (approximately), and the card was charged 1,889 Thai Baht.
