At THB 150-300 per bowl, you're paying Ploenchit prices for comfort food. The portions are generous. They don't skimp on noodles or toppings. Your wallet might whimper, but your stomach won't complain.

Here's where the boat springs a leak. The broth delivers all the complexity of a one-hit wonder from the 90s. It's rich but monotone and repetitive. Where legendary spots like Peninsula's create broths that tell stories, Na Ploenchit's version feels behind. Thongsmith also offers slightly more despite it being tourist heavy.

The herbs don't contribute about as much flavor. They should be adding aromatic punch, more dynamic flavor. Instead, they're just pretty garnish sitting there looking lost.

You'll leave satisfied but not smitten. Full but not fulfilled. Na Ploenchit serves perfectly adequate boat noodles in a world that desperately needs more soul-stirring bowls.

Its a solid choice for office workers and locals, but it wouldn't make it to my top recommended noodles for international guests...

Excellent boat noodles in central Bangkok. I ordered both the Signature Pork and the Premium Beef boat noodles. First off, these are not your typical portions as come standard with boat noodles. These bowls are large portions and one bowl will easily satisfy your lunch. Two bowls maybe too much food.

The Signature Pork noodles were good. There is a fair amount of pork meat and quite a lot of pork liver in the dish. The soup is slightly fatty but still has a good taste.

The Premium Beef noodles are the star of the show here. The beef is so soft it virtually melts in your mouth. The soup is thick with a rich beef flavor. Maybe one of the best bites of food I’ve had in Bangkok. Sadly, you are given only two slices of this glorious beef. But for the price paid, this is a good value.

Got the egg noodles with Wagyu beef, with extra portion of noodles, gobbled everything up within minutes, and proceeded to order another bowl of the exact same thing 😙😋 Super yummy!!! The Wagyu beef portion was very generous and was so soft and DELICIOUS I cannot even. 🥲🥩 Soup and dry options available, I much prefer the dry option and then douse the noodles with soup 👍.

At this very moment, time stopped still. I was too busy gobbling everything up. Self control is off limits here. No fine dining meal can compare to this. Am in love love...
