I was at another hotel overlooking Sivatel and its stunning swimming pool. Read some review, was confused, so contacted hotel directly and everything was clear out. Hotel was never ASQ and I was rest assured that hotel has never offer such service. The reservation chat with me and helped me do the booking right then and it was 9 pm. With current situation, having staffs with service mind and willing to go above and beyond for their hotel, it said a lot about the kind of place this is. Ms.Nita from FO checked me in and brought me up to very nice, spacious, beautiful suite on 18th floor while introduce me to the hotel facilities. Room was well lit with natural light and nicely decorated with simple, yet elegant, style. Couch is big and firm, so comfortable. Minibar, coffee, tea, drinking water, ice bucket, electric kettle but no coffee maker. Smart TV in both living room and bedroom, small screen but work well. Blackout curtain, seperated AC for each room, walk-in closet, personal safe, bathrobe, and some necessary bathroom amenities stored in traditonal pocket made from natural material, a nice touch. Bathroom is big, rain shower with ok water pressure. Big and comfy bathtub next to window overlooking the city view. I spent so much time in the bathroom, love it. Be warned, window in bathroom can be seen from outside, curtain down during the day and light off at night to avoid embarrassing moment I personally experienced. Love the electric curtain in bathroom also. Bubble bath service on request, ask and you shall receive. Bed and pillows are soft, clean and comfortable. Strong wifi and work well throughout my stay. Swimming pool is the best in the morning, with 1 room for 1 hour at a time, I was totally relaxed in a serennity and tranquil atmosphere with beautiful city view. Sauna, steam room, and locker room was clean and well maintained. Didn't have a chance to use the gym so no comment. Lobby offer all day snack and drink. Not so many guests so even the lobby is small, still not crowded. Note - Deposit is required when check in. Valet parking is available. Blueberry pie is a hotel signature, very delicious and highly recommended! Just learnt about pillow menu and rooftop camping, sadly I didn't have a chance to try it. Spa is also not opened at the moment. Pro - kind and helpful staffs, everyone i met was so nice and friendly except few in restaurant. Con - TV was small, can hardly read anything on screen when in bed. Breakfast was not included and menu in room is different than in restaurant. Check the minibar against the list when check in and let them know if any is missing so there wouldn't be any misunderstanding...
Read moreWe arrived at the hotel early, around 7:00 AM after a long flight. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive from the very beginning. At the Sky Lobby, we were pleasantly surprised to find refreshments like tea/coffee and cookies available for guests, a thoughtful and welcoming touch.
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Although our room was already ready at that hour, the hotel did not offer a complimentary early check-in. Instead, there was a charge of 2,500 baht. We felt this wasn’t quite worth it, so my husband and I opted to freshen up in the powder room near the lobby and head out to explore Bangkok after completing the check-in paperwork.
The Champa suite itself was spacious and impeccably clean. The interior design was tasteful and modern. The bathroom was large, with a bathtub big enough for two people, perfect for a relaxing soak. We also had a lovely view from our suite, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. But I was a little bit disappointed with the amenities. One small detail that stood out was the absence of body lotion in the room. It’s a minor thing, but it’s one of those comforts that can make a difference, especially for travelers who expect a full set of toiletries.
After dinner, we visited the pool area and were immediately excited to take a swim. The pool looked inviting and well-maintained. Once again, the staff impressed us with their exceptional service, always polite, friendly, and incredibly perceptive. They seemed to anticipate our needs effortlessly.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, from freshly cooked omelets and sunny side up eggs to noodle soup. It felt more like a brunch with additional lunch items like dumplings, rice, and vegetables. For those who prefer a lighter breakfast, there were also cereals, yogurt, pancakes, and fresh fruits~something for everyone.
My husband and I also enjoyed the sauna, which was perfect as we had it to ourselves. We were able to swim right after, and the whole experience was very relaxing. Although I didn’t get a chance to try the massage, I definitely will next time.
A big thank you to the staff for organizing our private transportation to Trat. They were helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

Read moreBooked this hotel with a wego voucher, turned out to be a great deal considering our experiences. From arriving and being led to the 17th floor sky lobby, to the welcome drinks, we could already feel the warm welcome and attentiveness of the staff. They also realized that it was my birthday and provided a cake to our room, top marks for that!
The regal suite was great with a living area and bedroom, large and clean and the apple TV was a enjoyable surprise. Bed was comfy and there was a choice of different types of pillows offered by the hotel. Swimming pool on the eight floor was just about right, our 1 year old enjoyed splashing about. Only suggestion for the hotel would be the breakfast, variety is quite limited and as we had breakfast for 4 days, there were no changes in the menu.
Location wise, it is directly opposite from the British embassy, our cab from the airport got us on the right road, but took some time to pin point the hotel (for reference it cost us 400 baht). It would help if you request the hotel to email you the address in thai to show to the cab driver. It is a 5 minutes walk to the Phloen Chit BTS and you have to climb some stairs to get to the station. We found that you could walk through Wave Place, which is an adjacent building, take the escalator up and walk through to the BTS walkway, it would save climbing 1 flight of stairs. With the BTS it is very convenient to get to the various places along the BTS line, Siam (Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery Center), Chit Lom (Central World), Asok (Terminal 21), Thong Lo (Sukhumvit Soi 38 street food - nights only), Mo Chit (Chatuchak weekend market). Go to the Saphan Taksin station (by changing skytrain lines at Siam station) which is directly above the central pier to take a river taxi on the Chao Praya River.
One could also walk from the hotel to Central Chit Lom (10 minutes) and another 10 minutes could get you to Central World. We did this at night, when it wasn't so hot.
We had a wonderful trip to Bangkok, great shopping and dining, and Sivatel Bangkok made it a welcome home of us...
