I ordered the grilled beef 🥩 I ordered the grilled chicken 🍗 box and the grilled beef 🥩 box plus I ordered the whole chicken 🐓 and they also ordered the papaya salad 🥗 that I absolutely love at this place I would highly recommend to go here if you’re in Bangkok the prices are absolutely unbelievably reasonable and the FOOD IS WOW!!!

Update: so I took my dinner group here there was like four of us should’ve been six but anyway, two didn’t come and we all ended up ordering fried chicken the half fried chicken with some sticky rice someone ordered papaya salad and the other one we ordered the grilled pork neck and it was awesome just like the last time I was here so you’re in Bangkok do you want to try some fried chicken? Make sure you come here!

You wanna join my group while you’re in Bangkok go to our website which is in the profile link because I organize dinners for Expats

This place is super busy last night and we got the table to sit outside as no space inside but it was ok as the weather was absolutely perfect!

Now the famous garlic chicken as very good!! I can see what the hullabaloo is about and it is tender and juicy! The Korat style somtam was so good as it has little teeny shrimps plus some crab 🦀 and was very spicy 🌶 - just the way we liked it!! Beer 🍺 is served chilled 🥰 We also ordered the spicy 🌶 beef 🥩 soup and shared among the 3 of us all of this food and oh I can’t forget the sticky rice which we all love ❤️!! There is a small sink outdoors to wash your hand before and after you eat so that’s 😎 and a 7-11 only 5 meters away!

Update : March 15, 2025

whenever I’m craving protein or some really good protein and I want chicken this is my go to place I love this place especially the sauce that they make is so delicious! 😋

The signature fried garlic that they as a crunchy on the chicken everything else that goes along with it it’s incredible!

I also love the price that they charge and the chicken is not salted or injected with salt for preservative!

Highly recommend this place to order from or even to go there and sit and eat the place is chaos but it’s a good THAI chaos!! Charming 🤓🤓🤓🤩

Honestly, out of all the reviews I watched before heading to Thailand, none of them pointed me to this place. I actually found out about it from my senior, who visited Thailand a week before me 😕.

At first, I just wanted to order this food from GrabFood and eat it at the hotel because I was too tired 😪. But I was afraid the taste might change if I took it away, so I gathered up the courage to go and eat there 🙌🏻

The place has a vibe like those typical Chinese gangster restaurants you see in Chinese kung fu movies, haha! The servers wore funny uniforms with chicken memes on them, and they were mostly attentive and helpful with the customers.

When I got there, I ordered fried chicken, som tam, one stir-fried vegetable dish (I forgot which vegetable it was), and two choices of rice – regular white rice and sticky rice.

It's kind of unique to have fried chicken with sticky rice since in Indonesia, sticky rice is more commonly used for desserts 🧐. But here, it seems pretty normal to have fried chicken with sticky rice. I thought it tasted a bit weird to eat fried chicken with sticky rice; the flavors clashed in my mouth, so I ended up eating the chicken with regular rice 🍚🍗.

By the way, the chicken was really tasty! Juicy and the crunchy seasoning (I think it's garlic) was delicious! I think just eating the rice with the seasoning without the chicken is already a winner 🔥.

And you can't go to Thailand without having som tam, right? Well, their som tam was the best I had in Thailand. The papaya was fresh, the spiciness was just right, and the sweet and sour balance was perfect. Everything in the som tam worked together. Great job for that, polo chicken!

As for the prices, I'd say they're quite reasonable for a restaurant. One downside was that the air conditioning was freezing cold. So, for someone like me who's not as young as before, I felt immediately under the weather after eating there because of the blast of cold air from the AC. Plus, they didn't have any warm drinks, mostly everything was cold. So, this could be improved in the future, so us old folks can get some warmth, lol.

Overall, don't forget to visit this place when you're in Thailand. It beats the chicken from McDonald's or KFC,...

I have been in Thailand for many years and I have heard so much about Polo fried chicken but haven't had the chance to try it yet. I even have some foreigner friends asking me why I haven't tried it despite staying in Thailand for so many years.

This time I finally decided to drive over to try this legendary fried chicken.

There is a parking lot very near to the restaurant, but looks like limited space. But the staffs are are very willing to help. And if you are dining there, parking will be free.

Ordered a few dishes including, of course, their legendary fried chicken.

Grill pork neck was very well seasoned and grilled perfectly. Its very flavorful.

Spicy pork soup was quite intense. It was slightly too spicy for me. But to be honest, if this dish was not spicy, then it won't taste good. So yea, I definitely love this dish. The fall off the bone meat was super tasty.

Ordered 2 types of papaya salad. They were really good.

Fried curry fish cake (forgot to take photos). This was always my all time favorite snacks in Thailand. But their version was the worst I ever tasted. It was swimming in oil when they served it. We had to use tissue to pat them dry. There are no flavors at all and this looks like it was done in a rush. I absolutely hated this dish.

Now the fried chicken. We ordered half chicken and it was served with lots of deep fried crispy garlic on top. I love my fried chicken with lots of crispy garlic! Thankfully, it was not dripping in oil. To be honest, I feel that the chicken was overcooked and too dry for my liking, much too dry. However the skin was very flavorful, nice and crunchy. Overall, I wouldn't say this is the best fried chicken in Thailand, but one of the better ones,...
