I wanted to share my wonderful hair journey at Niche Salon Bangkok. I am truly amazed by the professionalism of the whole team and the quality of service. I highly recommand this beauty salon, especially if you are seeking a personalized and accurate diagnosis on your hair. Tim and his staff helped me choose the best options for my hair as I didn't really know what treatment or color would suit me best. I have visited the salon 3 times in 6 months and I have always been well advised. The advices given were always genuine (never driven-consumption) and now my hair has never been more beautiful and healthy ! If you come to Niche Salon Bangkok, the team will carefully listen to your wishes and you will be able to choose what is best for you. First visit in september 2021 : My hair was impossible to manage during monsoon season. I had lots of frizz/flyaways. My lengths were dry and damaged but I didn't want to cut my hair short. They performed a keratin treatment which helped a lot. Second visit in november : I wanted to have a hair dye to cover old highlights. The hairdresser chose the perfect tint in order to get a result close to my natural color with some discrete shades that I love. The salon works with high quality products (Hair color organic Natulique) and I appreciated it because I didn't want to weaken my hair again. Third visit in January 2022 : In view of returning to Europe, I wanted to redo a hair treatment. They selected for me a new keratin treatment from the brand Keratherapy USA (Renewal ultra smoothing treatment). The result is stunning and I love it !!!

Pedicure 5/5 Haircut 3/5 Pros: Clean salon, English speaking staff at reception, very friendly, excellent gel pedicure done very fast with quality Korean brand gel, very fair prices for every service. The salon is a bit hard to find but it is centrally located.

Cons: The lady that did my haircut was visibly overwhelmed by the fact that my hair got frizzy after not using any heat protection or pre styling product and using a small dens round brush or a normal comb while drying my medium length hair after the wash. She is probably much more used to asian hair that is naturally not frizzy and falls heavy and smooth after drying, but I don't think that literally none of her clients ever had frizzy hair. I was a bit taken aback by how frizzy my hair was and I suspect that it actually was the products used for washing and the drying technique. I showed her a picture as a reference that was a layered cut with side fringe and I appreciated how meticulous she was and I do believe that she did her best to achieve that look, but unfortunately it wasn't what I had hoped for. The end result is not a bad haircut but it is very basic. Also I had asked for a haircut that would give some volume on top but either from language barrier or lack of experience that was not achieved. She tried to give volume from styling but it didn't work. Overall I don't think it was money lost because it is very fairly priced but I am disappointed by the lack of skill and experience with somewhat frizzy...

I almost ever give bad reviews but I have to say that this was the worst haircut I’ve ever had in Bangkok for years. The hairdresser spent 2/3 of the time blowdrying and styling my hair with a hair brush. Might be a good place for one-time styling and a regular trim but def not a good place if you are looking for a decent haircut. Haircuts are suppose to last for a while, I’d have stayed home and styled my hair with a hair-dryer myself if I was only looking for a one-time look. The haircut I ended up getting did not only looked nothing like what i communicated to her but also made me look older than my previous haircut. This is not a good place for people who don’t speak Thai coz the hairdresser does not speak English and the receptionist who helped translating clearly could not understand the nuances.
