Went in to eat against my better judgement: No one bothered to approach me while flipping through the menu at the door despite standing there for good 5 minutes. Servers are so unwelcoming and serious that it's actually unpleasant to sit in the restaurant. None of them smiles, looking at you as if you're a nuisance. No drinks offered nor asked if I'd like to have. I asked a male server when he passed by for a small bottle of water. He brought a small bottle literally, without a glass. In a restaurant! Again, no smile. I actually asked him if he was OK. I actually asked one female server if everyone was OK, why do they all look so unhappy and unwelcoming. She was kind enough to apologize. Food - green veg curry was full of sugar and could have been mistaken for a dessert. Tofu and all veggies were overcooked and falling apart in a spoon. Southern fish curry smelled repelling that I did not even attempt to taste it. When I asked for the manager/person in charge, staff said they don't have it. Which explains a lot! Restaurant itself could be way more pleasant if the staff welcomed their guests professionally and chefs had a better recipes or cooked better (maybe both). So one star for the atmosphere as well.
This one possibly tops the worst of the worst restaurant experiences ever (and I'm not a spring chicken).
I left in shock. Literally.
Do not recommend. Minus would be more appropriate rating...
Read moreI choose to eat at this restaurant because there is Michelin stars guarantee that food is good. I wish all foreigners read this comments and don’t misunderstand Thai people if you are encounter such worse service here, again Food is good, restaurant decoration is great but service is worse….
Almost half of waitress and waiter are not Thai but foreigner worker with zero customer service knowledge, I tell you why
They are not focus on their work as not welcoming any new customers or existing customers, customer is keeping ring bell for 10 times but they are busy of gossiping customers not becoz they are busy.
They are quarrel with customer, not trying to explain as this is Michelin stars restaurant therefore price is normal higher than normal Thai restaurants.
They are spend their time grouping and gossiping customers endlessly, with such habits do you think professional? And plus working in Michelin stars restaurant?
Airport is face of Thailand, in order to save cost hired foreigner workers is understandable but give them some training course to learn how to become professional waitress and waiter who worked in Michelin Stars is also a must! As well as strictly decline their to work also a must to restaurant manager. I m a Thai and this is such shameful moment to hearing how foreigners complaining beside my table about untrain waitress and waiter behavior and they are foreigner...
Read moreChef Sang ought to be ashamed of this place. Service, if you can even call it that, is abysmal. Took a while to get someone to take our order—despite call buttons on the table, also, our food came out but my drink never did. My husband later saw what looked like my drink sitting at the counter. He also watched the waiter continue to ignore the drink, take other drinks and food out, despite my drink sitting there. I used the call button three times, watched the waiter and now waitress continue to ignore the drink, even when nothing else was there and they weren’t swamped…finally, I annoyed them so much by continuing to press the call button (which they ignored) they finally came over, I told them I still hadn’t received my drink, and about 10 minutes after that they bought me my drink. Sure enough it was, indeed, the drink that was at the counter the entire time. Sadly, I was better off without it. I ordered black iced lime Thai tea. It, however, tasted like cough syrup. Food was ok. Morning glory was tasty but very greasy. Pad Thai was decent but I don’t think anything on this menu seemed Michelin worthy. Maybe the desserts are the only good thing here? But in my opinion, even those were overrated. Look great, taste was kind of bland. You think since it cost so much, taste would be superb and service would be even...
