Al Tarboosh Restaurant Phuket — Restaurant in Patong

Update: After reading my review, the owner decided to answer back that he saw the CCTV footage and nothing I described happened. Well an honest person would've acknowledged their mistake, apologized and moved on. Since he didn't, I would like to ask him which day's or week's CCTV footage did he watch to deem my review baseless? Does he even know when I visited his restaurant? I have 4 more people who were present when the incident happened and I can ask them to post their reviews too. But I don't want to waste any more time on this. I have narrated the incident honestly. So believe whoever you wish.

Original Review: Worst experience with food and staff! We ordered meat stuffed bread and it arrived half cooked with hardly any meat in it. When we returned the dish for replacement, we had to wait for half hour before the staff revealed that our order was cancelled so no replacement. Worst service ever! Specially the manager who didn’t care at all that the customers are waiting uselessly and should atleast be informed. I don’t recommend...

We had the most horrendous experience at this restaurant tonight.

We had to wait for more than an hour for food and when enquired the waiter and the manager kept saying it’s going to be 5 more minutes each and every time.

Finally the manager mentioned that there was a system error and we have to wait another 20minutes and blamed everything on the waiter who is apparently new, which we don’t believe.

The manager was absolutely rude and not empathetic given there was a hugh time wasted.

Pretty much told us to wait or get lost at the end.

Terrible service and will never go...

Staff was very welcoming, polite and available. We had a very good food. Shawarma was perfect, and in general generous portions. Grilled crab was tender and tasty, we really enjoyed the hummus, super creamy and fresh. It came with an amazing warm bread we loved. As dessert we recommend the Baklava with icecream, It was very good, not overly sweet and with the ice cream it was perfectly balanced. Pistacchio was not the best but still...
