I visited this restaurant with my partner, and I have to say, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The chicken ramen I ordered was a major letdown - it tasted more like a bland vegetable soup than the rich, flavorful broth we were expecting. My partner tried the shrimp ramen and was equally disappointed, finding it lacking in the depth of flavor that a good ramen dish should have. It was a real shame, as we were both looking forward to a comforting and satisfying bowl of ramen.
The one bright spot in our meal was the Krispy Shrimp maki. This sushi roll was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The shrimp was flavorful, and the other ingredients complemented it beautifully.
Unfortunately, the service we received was also quite poor. Our waitress seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged us as she took our order. We had to ask several times for the check before she finally brought it over, which was frustrating and made us feel like an inconvenience.

However when I complained to the man he became aggressive saying "read the reviews, what don't you like". I said I did not like the salmon because it was hot and of discolour, it didn't taste ok. I then said we ordered octopus. He said its calamari I said we ordered the octopus, this isn't calamari he said its calamari, I said yes we ordered octopus. He said ok you want octopus. I had a disappointing experience at Sushi Box in Patong due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the owner/manager. Despite the restaurant having available tables, at the time being close to 12am I was forced to sit at the community table even after repeatedly requesting a private table to enjoy a meal with my husband. I arrived before my husband, and the manager openly expressed disbelief that someone would be joining me, which I found uncalled for.
What made the situation worse was that later, other parties of two were seated at private tables, while I was still denied one. This felt unfair and unnecessarily personal, leaving me with a negative impression of the restaurant. Customer service should be about respect and consideration, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
