Bangkok 101 (Jungceylon Phuket) — Restaurant in Patong

The staff was just the rudest staff in existence. If you ask anyone who knows my brother, they can all tell you that he only eats a margherita pizza. They proceed to give us a pizza with canned mushroom, halfed tomato and lettuce. Let's ignore the fact that this pizza looked nothing like the photo on the menu. We were immediately all confused as to why we were given a margherita pizza with toppings. I asked for the menu and realised they must have thought we ordered a "Groviglio" pizza since it was right underneath the margherita option. Fair mistake by the wait staff. Upon telling the waitress this and that she might have accidentally took down the wrong order, she proceeds to tell us that we were wrong and accused my brother of actually saying the words "Groviglio". Are you serious? My brother would not even have that word in his vocabulary. Heck, none of us in the table knew that word existed. But she very rudely and aggressively insisted that my brother SAID he wanted the "Groviglio" pizza. There's nothing bad with making a mistake but if you lie and proceed to accuse us of something we didn't do, that's when it is just unacceptable. I knew there was simply no explaining to her so I called for her manager. The even more unbelievable part is that the waitress stayed standing next to us while we explained to her the situation and she kept shaking head and interrupting us as she continued to lie through her teeth. If it was a more simple pizza like a pepperoni or hawaiian, maybe it would have been a little bit more believable. But her saying that my brother said he wanted a "Groviglio" pizza? It was almost laughable. The manager did also accuse us of ordering the wrong thing but eventually and also quite rudely accepted to remove and refund the pizza. They proceeded to talk by the counter in plain site very clearly about us probably about how we are the liars. But we had to leave in an hour to catch our flight back to Australia. Clearly we were in a rush. What motive would we have to waste everyone's time to lie? The entire situation was just ridiculous. To the waitress, you know who you are. Learn to own up to your mistakes and don't pass the blame to others or else you will get it 10 times more. And to the manager, learn and teach yourself and your staff to be more professional. Please save your time and do not go to this restaurant. If not for the service but for the canned food when the menu has fresh...

Not a good value for the money! They charge 380 for a seafood salads but only 2 shrimps added . 80% of The curry crab was veggies lol . Environment is good and stuff was friendly but if you are up for delicious food for the good price . Not the choice unfortunately! The night market provides better food than here

I am not kind of person who is only up for cheapy food, I just wanted to emphasise the seafood salad that costs 380 bah should not be provided in that quality and material . I can easily spend a few thousand for a quality dish but I’m sorry you guys are over price what you provide to the customers.Again I feel like this restaurant is more for the tourist, so they charge way more than what they offer compared to other similar proper restaurants (not night market stall) in this area...

Overall- very nice honestly. The Thai food is very reasonably priced and comes with rice for 200tbh. Very delicious and you can choose spice level. Definitely satisfying! The portions are generous enough to fill you up. The place is very professional.

Please note, no bathroom here, you can only use the one inside botanical garden. A bit weird as restaurants should have bathroom but oh well. The staff are bit a unfriendly and can misunderstand sometimes. First time here I ordered two plates, the waitress understood three maybe mistake in communication from us both, I'd say maybe repeat orders at end to make sure this doesn't happen. Apart from that all good :) convinient place to eat in patong.

Note: international foods are expensive, my comment is solely based on Thai food...
