Das-Berliner Bistro — Restaurant in Pattaya City

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life. I’m Thai and never expected to meet this situation in the restaurant.

I searched German restaurants in pattaya and out of 3 or 4 in google I found this one quite interesting. I drove to the place and found parking was hard to park as small soi, I was ok, no complaints.

The restaurant was quite full and I got the seat inside with no air, it was ok, no complaints. I got the menu list and I would like to order. Do you believe the lady staff walked pass me many times and didn’t even look at me carefully that I want to order, sometimes she looked at me and then didn’t care. I called staff when they walked past, nobody care and I showed my hand so many times. Meanwhile foreigners who just came in , sat next to my table could order. I wait for almost 20 minutes and I decided to return the menu and walked out !!!!!

Is your restaurant care only the foreigners? So...

I have eaten in this German styled several times and ordered delivery several times. Usually, the currywurst or schnitzel is ok. But this time, I ordered through the Foodpanda app. It arrived after about 30mins (cook time and delivery - that was fine) I had their Big rib... but it was not big by any description; 2 small pieces of rib, a few chunks of meat...quite a lot of cartilage and fat. The gravy was unsppetising. Previously, when i ordered this, it was a whole side of pork rib. The accompanying french fries were also a very small portion. I asked foodpanda for a refund of the rib portion...but they said they could not. This was a poor service all round; by Das Berliner...

Date 01.Jan.2023 AND UPDATE 01.01.2024 WLANis till now extremly bad...you CAN NOT OPEN WEBSITES WITH ANY DIFFERENT BROWSER....this Problem is NOT on your mobilephone it is ONLY TECHNICLY the Wlan Router of the restaurant... Additionaly you cant get aby signal wirh TRUE OR DTAC... . Food , Service and Location are excellent ! . Taste, Quality , Quantity and Price are very good . See my picture Pork Schnitzel with Potatos, Red Cabage, 1 Water and 1 coffee...for approx 275THB . A hint... TRY THE Big Breakfast . Recommend it is A MUST SEE location . And yes i am back again...
