Well after going to Kamikaze for the 30th day consecutively, I had the pork chop. The picture on the menu was glorious but the size of the actual pork chop was without question HALF the size of the pic. I pleasantly complained that they should not really do this. I get on with all the staff with daily laughing and good times. The manager came over and pointed to the “disclaimer” on the menu which say basically things aren’t exactly what the pic shows. It was NOTHING LIKE WHAT THE PICTURE showed. All that was needed to fix this was for the manager (who has ZERO people skills) to throw on one more chop which would have cost nothing. He lost his temper which led to me walking out. Disgraceful behaviour from him. An apology and a tad more pork is what they should have done. I’ve enjoyed 30 meals on a row there and it was a simple mistake from them which they handled abysmally. I could see the staff visibly distressed. The main girl Nitcha agreed with me and when to the kitchen to ask the chef to pop on another chop. Things changed when angry man came over. I’ve had restaurant for 25 years. There’s an unmistakable tone of racial and cultural bias in how they treat different guests. It’s subtle but deliberate, and it reflects a deep-rooted, toxic attitude that has no place in any restaurant, let alone one that caters to international visitors.

It was a typical Thai vibe, bench seating, music playing, beach breeze blowing and average priced beers for the area. My only issue with my meal was they didn't seem to want to cook my steak anywhere near the temp I asked for. I asked for extra rare, and explained I seriously meant extra extra rare, still cold in the center. When my food arrived, it was Medium almost on the verge of medium well. I still ate it, because well my Coworker had his food and I was hungry. The steak was well seasoned and a bit tough for my liking (but I'll assume that was due to being overcooked).
