Pranakorn Grill — Restaurant in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang Subdistrict

This is a BBQ grill in Thai Style located at Tha Maharaj, one of the tourist spots close to Thai Royal Palace and important temples nearby Chao Pra Ya River. I chose to come here because I wanted my Swedish boyfriend to see Thai local life and see the beautiful scene by the river. By the way, the food here is just so so. Nothing special and they don't have several options of food either. I love Thai BBQ (Moo Ka Ta) and I ate around at many places. Other places are much better regarding the flavor of food. But the competitive advantages of Pranakorn Grill is the beautiful atmosphere that I don't refuse to give a credit for that. The buffet price is so cheap and fair for the flavor and the quality of ingredients that you can expect....

All you can eat buffet style Thai BBQ. The scenery is good. You can see the river and have your dinner there. However you might have to wait if you want to sit beside the river.

The food just okay though. But can't complain too much for buffet style. They are not selling any alcohol. But I do see people bring their own beer to the restaurant. There is 7-eleven shop below where you can get the alcohol

Im not fan of free buffets but this one is worth the visit. Traditional Thai BBQ-hotpot (mookata) with great atmosphere and amazing views to Bangkok’s riverside. It gets really crowded on week end days and they only book table before 6PM. So if you want to sit down for dinner later, you are likely to wait for a while.
