It might be more accurate to call this place a petting zoo rather than a cafe. You're not here to have a drink or a snack, you're here to see the birds... And rabbits... And lizards... You get the idea.
The drink you get with the entrance fee is just a little bonus thing to chill off. The main attraction will be the variety of birds you can interact with here. You get a variety of parrots/parakeets, chickens, ducks, bunny rabbits, and some lizards. By entering and paying the fee, you also get a small packet of bird feed, another packet of rabbit feed, and a little feeding plate. Chicken and duck feed is provided in the outdoor area.
The birds are divided between two areas: The main room have all the friendly and tamer birds that will actively fly to you and perch, every where from your hands, arms, shoulder, and head (Or all at the same time). The outdoor cage has more birds but they're not as tame, but will still respond to food.
If you like birds, it's an absolute blast. Just expect some minor discomfort from small bites, nibbles, clawing, and occasional droppings; ya' know, bird stuff. The staff are always standing by to help rein in unruly birds and clean up any mess they leave behind, so there's no real issue with that.
Most of the birds are varieties of parakeets that are easier to handle, but there is one cockatoo as well, who is just as playful as the parakeets and will happily perch on...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Happy Birds Day Café, and I must say it was an enchanting experience. As a bird enthusiast, I was delighted to discover a café dedicated to our feathered friends. From the moment I entered the café, I was greeted with a cheerful ambiance and the soothing sounds of chirping birds. Speaking of the aviaries, they were the highlight of the café. Each enclosure housed a variety of bird species, and it was evident that great care had been taken to create a comfortable and stimulating environment for them. The birds seemed happy and content, and it was a joy to watch them hop, flutter, and interact with each other. What impressed me most about Happy Birds Day Café was the emphasis on bird welfare. The café staff were knowledgeable and passionate about the birds, and they took the time to educate visitors about the different species and their unique behaviors. They ensured that the birds were never stressed or overwhelmed by human presence, and visitors were encouraged to observe them from a...
Read moreSuch a joy to be able to spend time here. The birds chirping makes the atmosphere peaceful, but the birds aren't as "peaceful" since they are so playful! 🤣 Expect them flying and perching on your head, with or without the bird feed. And no, not just one, sometimes you'll get 3 on your head. One even slept on a friend's head. Truly adorable! There are also fluffy chickens, ducks, and rabbits in the garden if birds are not up your alley.
They are definitely tame. I came out unscathed, but do keep in mind they have beaks and claws and they are still animals. They might accidentally nip on your hand but that's basically it. No harm. The staffs did such great job to keep us comfortable as well. For example, when the birds started nipping on my shiny earring, the staffs were quick to help. They also made sure we can engage with the animals, including giving us rabbit feed.
350B for 1 drink, 1 polaroid photo, and 1 plate of bird feed, and you can stay as long as you want. Quite some photo ops as well. Definitely try this experience...
