Zia Pasta — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

A restaurant with amazing food. But a terrible situation happened to me a couple of days ago, for which I do not recommend this institution.

I had a problem with payment, my card stopped working. I explained the situation, showed that I had money and asked my friend to transfer the payment.

While I was waiting for my friend. A man named John (employee or friend of the owner) came up to me and started yelling at me, slamming his fist on the table and threatening me if I didn't pay the bill right now. It was strange, because I did not look like a person who does not want to pay the bill and showed that I have money.

Then he grabbed my T-shirt and tried to hit my head on the table. I got very scared. He was twice my size.

After 20 minutes of waiting, my friend transferred the payment (even more than necessary)

I do not advise visiting this institution, so as not to suffer from John's actions again. Better...

My son and I were there in early March 2024…I had learnt about this place from my friend who lives in Sukhumvit 65….so my rating is relative to my expectations.

The food was super good, highly recommended for pasta explorers… The house wine we ordered was worth being explored…

The prices were reasonable, especially for explorers of vibrant pasta and wine….

I was charmed by this cozy little restaurant from the moment I walked in. Zia Pasta is a humble no fuss kinda place that serves wonderful, authentic and hearty Italian dishes that even the most fussy Italian nonna would approve!

My friends and I had so much food, all recommended by the chef extraordinaire, Gina! My favourites gotta be the bruschetta, sausages, mushroom risotto and rigatoni.
