Aree's House — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

My girlfriend and I stayed here on our second trip to Hua Hin. ||Before this we stayed in a squalid place in Samui and we were nervous of coming to another guesthouse type hotel. But the reviews were great and we decided to take the risk; thank God it was the right decision!||Aree's House is a charming little restaurant/guesthouse, with rather large rooms, which are kept extremely clean. The facilities in the room are all very good, with a mini fridge to keep your things cool, and there is also drinks in the fridge with a reasonable price list. You are also given free bottles of water everyday which is always a nice touch. ||The shower in our room would alternate in pressure when it was being used, but to me that isn't a big deal. There is nothing wrong with Aree's House, and we both really enjoyed our stay here. ||The staff were so nice from the minute we checked in, always saying hello when we passed with big smiles on their faces. They would always try and engage us in conversation, and the manager (or owner, I'm unsure) has great English, so we had a couple of good conversations with her too. ||The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach, and is quite central with bars/restaurants etc all around it. Comfortable stay, clean, and great staff.

The room has odd colours, old, but still good for a short stay. No windows in the room I stayed in. There is a fridge, TV, in-room safe, wardrobe, large mirror, coat hanger. Bed felt comfortable to me and the sheets are clean. AC works good.

What needs improvements: water pressure is VERY LOW for the shower and wash basin faucet, almost no water coming out. Frustrating when taking a shower or brushing your teeth. I decided to not extend here because of this.
