I've stayed in Istanbul for a short while before Covid and craved Turkiye food again, This place just fit the bill perfectly. To my tasty, food is great here. From kebabs to salads, I couln't find something to complain about. (Hot plate \ sizzlers can take a while to cool down , note). Drinks including black tea are good tasting too (the glass is bigger than in Turkey usually, though). I would note also a very friendly and attentive service (NOT any restaurant here can brag about one, you know) and really friendly and inspiring Zorba-Buddha style owner (manager?) who takes care of things. Choose sofa sitting if possible, its super comfy and a little more private. A belly dance was a nice surprise on Sun. evening. Tzatziki sauce struck me as very good tasting and original, kebabs are great, hummus too. Soup and a chicken dish were top nothc, too. Overall, one of my very few fav places in Old Town so far. If you book a table like i did, a neat lil card with your name will be placed there, and no hiccups with it, 5 star overall. Surprisingly, all this comes at a LOW price and food\experience value is amazing here (dinner for 2 at less than 1.000 baht?? cumon you...

Both the outside and the interior have been nicely designed and have a relaxing atmosphere, which is why I liked it so much. The staff even kindly greeted me.
Despite the waiter's low English skills, I was glad to receive some helpful recommendations. Thanks for making an effort. The menu offers a variety of soups, pizzas, wraps, kebabs, falafels, and salads, which may not be ideal for vegetarians. Both the preparation of the dish and the service were quick.
Although the starter was fine, I really enjoyed the bread. I can highly recommend the KOFTE KEBAB, which I ordered as my main course. It was absolutely delicious.
If you like Turkish cuisine, you should definitely try this place. It is still worthwhile to go there, even though the price...
Read moreFirst off I will say that Efe’s is one of our favorite places here in Phuket. We’ve now been there at least 6 times. This last time was a significant change however. The Greek salad was vastly different than all the previous times, and not very enjoyable. The mixed platter that we usually love was also different, mainly the vegetables and seasoning were not great or flavorful. The mixed platter comes with a pepper, which was not spicy at all or flavorful in any way. We then ordered the same meal to take home for later, and the same pepper was so spicy we couldn’t eat the meat or rice as it was so unbelievably spicy from just touching the pepper. We hope that whatever change has occurred can go back to the previous ways because everything used to be so amazing. Please look into the consistency of the peppers served so people can be prepared for what they are getting.
