Called in for an early dinner one evening after a busy day out. McFlys is situated directly opposite Rawai Beach. I ordered the chicken massaman along with a soft drink. The curry was a generous size, had an ample amount of chicken and was very tasty. The only downside were the potatoes, they had that horrible tang that they get after being sat in the fridge too long. This somewhat dulled my enjoyment of the dish. The bar is a good size, you can sit near the front gazing away out to sea or sit further inside where there are many tables to choose from. The staff are competent and friendly and there is a pool table available where the ladies working there are only too happy to give you a game. The bar is cooled with quite a few fans, no AC as it is an open air bar with no doors to enter. One thing that I didn't enjoy was the 80's/90's music videos playing on the big TV, very monotonous. Prices are reasonable and they have beer on tap. McFlys is worth popping in for a couple of cold ones on a hot day to take in the sea views.

First time at this bar, hung out there after dinner at Nikitas over the road for the killer pool competition. Owner and patrons were friendly and welcoming to our party. Time past quickly as we enjoyed the night. Highly recommended. Will surely visit again when in the area.

Stopped in and had a beer. Great view of Rawai beach. Was ready to leave after a beer and they said it was “free BBQ” night.
