Pros: great dining experience outdoors on the beach, with sand under your feet service was quick and efficient mango sticky rice dessert was probably the best we had on the island!
Cons: seafood was OK, but not as good as Kan Eang @ Pier or Kin Dee Always suspicious of a place that has a HUGE menu, including western dishes as well, and as a result nothing apart from the dessert stood out for us Pricing was high, although still cheaper than resort prices. Chairs were plastic, which cheapened the dining experience There's no dedicated parking, you just have to find some on the road outside
Overall, the meal was decent, but probably won't return again given the huge amount of choices available in Phuket. One feels that this is more catered to the first time tourists in Phuket, who want to have that "beach dining" experience and happy for just simple Thai curries (or stick to their fish and chips) rather than want a...
Read moreThird time of visiting to this restaurant and on last night's experience would not go back again. Restaurant looks idilic from the outside, but has no idea about customer service. My wife and I ordered soup as a starter followed by seafood spaghetti for my wife and Thai style spicy beef in red curry sauce with rice. The main courses was brought to us before the soup. We had to insist that the soup should be served first. They took away the main courses then after five minutes brought us the soup. When the main courses was brought back to us it was stone cold. On complaining about the meal we got the Thai shoulder shrug and we should have had the main courses as starters. No apology, no suggestion from the staff regarding a replacement meal and charged full price for an uneatable meal. My recommendation is, don't bother eating there there are plenty of other good restaurants in the area with much...
Read moreSuch a great authentic Thai restaurant, right on the beach!
We came at a slow hour so we didn't have to book a table in advance, and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace right next to the beach view which was absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind, and we were shocked at how fast the food we ordered was ready.
We ordered the som tom (papaya salad) that was simply divine and so full of flavors. Another local dish we tried was the fried long beans - delicious and very fresh. For mains we ordered the green curry with chicken that was very tasty and rich, and my least favorite dish was the stir fried yellow noodles with pork, as the pork was a bit dry and the sauce didn't have as rich flavors as I expected.
Overall, this was a great authentic Thai lunch, right next to the sea view, and you can't really ask for...
