We had two short nights in Bangkok before flying to Koh Samui and chose this hotel mainly for its location directly in the center of Chinatown. Literally outside of the hotel is the night market where the streets out front transforms into a mass crowd of locals and tourists beginning at 5pm daily. So much food and excitement. During the day within a block there are side streets full of food options. Wishing a few blocks are Michelin starred food spots. The train is a 10 minute. It’s an easy 30 minute ride to Sukhumvit. ||Make sure to get the the Studio Triple Room. It’s spacious with a seating area, desk, large bathroom, hallway closet, separate kitchen area, and many large windows with natural lighting. Our room was located at the end of the hallway right underneath the security camera which made us feel very safe. We happened to peak inside the regular rooms which looked very small with a bed and bathroom only. We would stay here again but only in the studio triple room and highly suggest it for anyone looking into booking. ||Check-in was easy with a nice lobby and seating are. Staff were very friendly and helpful in recommendations and arrangements for transportation. They helped with bags and were very accommodating. There is also a security guard when we arrived back late. Breakfast was included but we only had it once and it was fairly basic but no complaints we were there to try the abundance of restaurants...

While in college, I worked for a few hotels in Seattle, Washington such as the Four Seasons Olympic, Hilton, Sheraton; thus, my experience enable me to recognize 'Great Service' in this industry. On and off for the past few years, I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for about 2 months, and I just couldn't thank the entire staff enough for the service I received throughout my stay in all aspects!
Just an example here; If you're a fan of the NFL, you'd know the feeling I had when scrambling to search for a place to watch my Seahawks playing in the Super Bowl by which the pregame started at 3am; so, local sports bars, restaurants and even other adjacent hotels all were very inconvenient not mentioning those safety issues that due to the political demonstrations; Nina, she was kind enough to go way out of her way to have the channel that showed both games Conference Championship and SB in My Very Own Room without any additional charge!! Thank you, Nina! I'll definitely see you again on my next charitable trip and more!! :)

Read moreStayed at this hotel for 2 nights the price was good but would of paid extra 300 baht per night at the hotel down the road due to hygiene of the hotel bed sheet and pillows as we found blood stains on them, along with the air conditioning problems such temperature control not working properly and loud rattle sound keeping us from getting a good night rest. ||The bell boy had a mediocre welcoming attitude but the front desk felt like they didn't welcome you.||What was good about this hotel was the location as it was extremely convenient to Chinatown food market just outside hotel and access to 7-Eleven a few metres from the hotel.||The traffic was terrible for its location but it's just as worst every where in Bangkok.|I would of rated it 1 star but for its location it well...
