I went to this restaurant on 17/May/2022, I just read a bad comment from someone in here before I came, in the beginning I really doubt about my choice, but I found the restaurant is nice, he is right on the worker in this restaurant, they don’t really speak Chinese but English communication is ok and they are also friendly but not much talk may caused by language matter. Foods are nice, it is Chinese foods, no doubt, the comments from a Chinese people to a restaurant in Thailand, it is good comment. The environment is ok, their decorations are old and space is not big. When you walk-in before their door you will find a big pot beside the door, the soup is making in good way as you can find from all best chief making, the foods put into this pot are rich, no wonder they have good taste of foods. Talking about price, they are not cheaper, slightly higher than my expectations. One more thing, they only accept cash!

I love it! Cheap shark fin soup compared to Australia and tasted good. I also had har gow,, prawn siu mai and wonton noodles. Overall, the food is excellent. But they didn’t have the crab curry, I actually went back twice to try all the dishes I wanted. I also ordered the fish maw soup and bird nest. Portion is sufficient so I could try different things. Price won’t be cheap, expect 900bht-1,000bht for you order shark fin soup, bird nest and fish maw soup. This place is packed with Chinese, locals and foreigners. You won’t be disappointed. The crab spring roll was also yum but you could try similar roll outside on the street for 1/2 price only. Food comes out pretty quickly so don’t order everything at once or it might get cold if you don’t finish the previous dish. Definitely a place to try if you are in Chinatown Bangkok.

Dishonest, tastless, expensive tourist trap. We were cheated in this restaursnt tonight, which is a shame. My son ordered a big plate of a beef dish (nr.18) When our bill arrived we saw that it was wrong. We showed them the proof in the menu but they insisted that we had to pay the high price of nr.25. because it was beef. The menue says the price of beef in nr.18 but the continued to point on the price of nr. 25 instead. I told them that I will complain in a review but they only cared about the payment and insistent on charging us a manipulated bill. We should have called the tourist police but did not want to make an issue in a full restaurant. Besides this ennoying insident, the food was not even worth the high prices in a crowded poorly designed noisy restaurant which lacks atmosphere. My duck was soft and lacked aroma, the "barbequed pork" tastless, the 5 spices sauce had a strange aftertaste.Even the eggroll consisted mostly of noodles snd soggy vegetables and the sauce was not good. My husbands and my sons dishes were ordinary only, but certainly a poor choice of chinatowns kitchen. We will never come back to this restaurant!

3 friends came here about 5 years ago. They were very impressed with the food. Very authentic Chinese dimsum. The 3 friends recommended n brought us here today. Total 7 paxs was utterly disappointed with all the food. The goose feet comes in a claypot with soup. This is not HongKong style n was also tasteless. The fish maw n sharks fin also comes in claypots n the soup was also tasteless. The water crest was like a plate dead leaf partly dried. The roast duck is also not HongKong style. Only the drunken chicken the meat is not bad but totally no alcohol taste. How to be call it drunken chicken? The dumplings was also tasteless. We ordered all small plates. All the dishes are left partially eaten only. The good reviews were probably from those that have never tasted authentic Chinese or HongKong food especially dimsum. There was probably a change of ownership or change of Chef. 7 of us was not interested in most of the dishes after first bite. Even thou if u are standing outside this shop, don't waste time going in unless they totally revamp the dishes or Chef to an authentic Chinese or HongKong

I had never heardof it before I walked in, but it looked pretty busy so i thought i would give it a go. The entrance ambiance is pretty cool. They got pots of this and that boiling, staff if cooking and chopping. I thought it was pretty cool. Opens to a small front dining room and it was packed about half past noon on Saturday, but they have a big open back dining room. Its not fancy. Tried the bbq pork, crispy pork and rice with gravy, thought the portion size was pretty small but then again, its only 65 baht. I dont know what i was expecting for that. Bbq pork was just ok, crispy pirk was good enough i ordered another whole plate of just that. The glass noodle with river prawns was good and the prawns were huge! Shrimp spring rolls were pretty good. Thai omelette was good, but its a thai omellette, so.... 😉 Overall, it was good. I didnt try anything fancy, shark fin soup. It was a little pricier than i expected, but had a few beers so maybe thats why?

The Q was quite short. Was led and asked to sit in an area that was very low and near a big vertical column. As I am quite big and tall, I asked for another seat, was still seated at the low area but nearer an opening which made things a little better. Basically, the restaurant stuffed tables and chairs very near each other and cramp. If there was a fire, we will sure to be stuck and be the last to leave. The table for the bigger crowd was better spaced and they had the higher ceiling. Check where u will be seated before deciding ur meal size. Since we had some food prior to coming in, we just ordered the 600baht sharks fin as the environment wasn't comfortable enough for more. Short wait for the SF. The fins were delicious and the bean sprouts given were fresh too. Be careful when u use the pepper, lots of pepper comes out v easily. Will I come again, likely not if it is a group of 2. Billing was fast.
