First time posting a food review. Heard this was owned by Homeburg so gave it a try. Ordered food delivery through grabfood which didn't take long to arrive as I live in Thong lor. The size was quite small for the price, but having heard of the reputation for quality that was fine. The bun was soft and good (although I prefer crisper buns) and everything from the cheese to patty was very neatly made. Caramelisation on the meat was on point, so far so good. However, after my first bite, I had to take a moment to question my taste buds, the meat was so overpowered with black Pepper that it was quite unpleasant to eat and I'm not the type that dislikes it, quite the opposite as I sprinkle a lot of black pepper onto my steaks. Not sure if this was a one-off mishap or this is the actual recipe. Would love for someone to tell me it was a mistake so I have faith in giving it...
Read moreThis place definitely serves the best burger in Bangkok. Hands down.
We ordered the homeburg prototype (Beef and Pork) and was not disappointed at all. In fact, we were amazed by how amazing the burgers are.
The Pork burger was cooked to perfection, not over-cooked and too dry but just perfect where it is still juicy. The bun were soft and crispy. The pickles are not overpowering. The burger is not covered with sauces that overtakes the flavour of the patty. Definitely the best pork burger that I've ever tried.
The Beef burger on the other hand was amazing, it is juicy and I believe that they make their own patty. You can still taste the beef but it is a good kind of beef taste, the patty is not gamy at all.
Note: these are my personal taste, you may have tasted a better burger but so far, this is one of the best burger that I've...
Read moreJust tried the cheeseburgers from this burger shop, and WOW 🤩 I’m visiting friends in Thailand, and of course I’ve been eating a lot of Thai food, but I also wanted to try what my local friends eat. Lucky for me, I was missing In N Out, and they have their own In N Out style burger with Animal Style called “On and Off”! Delicious! I didn’t take a pic, but I learned about it by searching their Instagram @bunmeatandcheesebkk
Anyway, what makes this burger restaurant stand out to me is that it’s Thai-owned, they support Thai farmers, and even the water is sourced here in Thailand with bottles that feature different Thai artists. I’m a designer, so this little detail is meaningful to me. Locals, visitors, and expats should eat here and expect the freshest burgers that can compete with what I’d get...
