Greenmine Steak & Coffee — Restaurant in Suan Luang Subdistrict

Frankly, great coffee. The only dish I ate was excellent too. Keep it up! - Update January 2024. I'll tell it as it happened. The place was empty. Bad sign 1. Staff were sitting at available tables which made it look busy. Bad sign 2. Frankly I don't know whether staff were not Thai and didn't understand Thai which I have used successfully in the 30 years I have been in Thailand, so I pointed at the pics. Idiot proof right? Not so fast. The food that I ordered from the girl (I can only assume it was her first day) and she didn't understand me so asked for management to help was for takeaway. TAKEAWAY in 2 languages which seemed to baffle the girl. It came on a plate 2 minutes later. Mistake #1, fine, it happens. I ordered a coffee to wait for my main meal (salmon) as I pointed at the picture and they couldn't screw this up. I ordered 3 times just to make sure, including a reminder which they ACKNOWLEDGED. We were staying at the hotel next door. We stopped by at night and placed our orders. 10 min later we were told they were all out of what we wanted. We chalked it up to it being end of the day.

We came back a few days ordered and tried ordering again. This time in the morning. We asked if they had everything on the menu. They said yes and we placed our order again. 10 min later they came back and said they only had enough for one of our orders. Then they smiled...

Yay, this is my favorite salad house. Fresh salad with salmon is one of my favorite and its close to where I stayed. Staff is accommodating and can communicate engslish which I'm happy about cause I can't speak their language. The price is reasonable and on their menu you would know how much calories you can get cause its labelled on each meal they offered. If your on diet at least you will have an idea how much your consuming if you chose to eat what you want. I...
