We waited 30 minutes at least for our first food to be served. Waited 1 hour for my dish, the grill chicken with Somtam, in particular. The server should've told us prior if it was gonna be this long, not leaving us waited and wasted our time like this. The Somtam that arrived was also wrong since I ordered Somtam with crab Prara, but was instead served the normal Somtam. (I got the confirmation from the server beforehand that the crab Prara in Somtam with grill chicken was possible.) The food was average, certainly not worth the 1 hour wait. The employee initially offered us some discount, but it turned out later that wasn't possible because of the "system". They later instead offered to pay us personally from their own wallet as compensation, but we don't need that. I appreciate the flawed attempt to be responsible for their mistake, but it wouldn't fix the bad experience.
In summary, the service was confusing and bad, and the food was average. Never gonna eat here again. What a waste of my time.
Also, the parking building is very narrow and difficult to drive. Anybody should reconsider coming to this building at all if you are coming with a large personal car.
I know this is a harsh review, but I assure you that this is very sincere and based on actual experience. I don't write bad reviews really often, and anyone reading this can check my other reviews as proofs. Therefore, this review is as accurate as it...
Read moreI ordered a curry (pictured below), and the staff assured me it didn’t contain milk, so I assumed they were using coconut milk. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication, which is understandable – being in Thailand, such things happen, especially when language barriers are involved. However, what I didn’t expect was a soup that looked nothing like the photo on the menu.
I strongly suggest the owner consider alternatives, as it’s easy to source coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, and other plant-based options. When customers are paying a premium for a meal, offering quality ingredients and accurate menu descriptions is essential.
I tasted the dish, and sadly, it was far from enjoyable. I wasn’t offered a refund, nor was it suggested, despite the additional service fee I paid.
Rating Summary:
• Food: 1/5 – Disappointing taste and quality. • Customer Service: 2/5 – While polite, I wish they’d provided better options or replaced the meal with a vegan alternative. • Atmosphere: 5/5 – A beautifully...
Read moreKhao soi with chicken was delightful. Crunchy noodles on top, broth was not too spicy, chicken was tender. Sprinkle some pickled mustard greens and shallots and you're ready to go. Very satisfying. The crispy pork on the other hand was a disappointment. It was chewy! The flavors were definitely there but the crackling was tough and not enjoyable at all. There's sadly no excuse for your signature dish to be executed in such an unfavorable manner. Mango salad with fermented fish sauce was interesting. Not crunchy, a bit sweet, nice flavors overall and might be a good starting point for people who aren't acquainted with fermented fish sauce. Service was polite and efficient. The ambience was actually good, the photos make it seem like the layout is extremely open and sort of fast food restaurant-ish, but there are some nice nooks in the back with natural light coming in and a more...
