I have been to Al Saray several times and being a huge fan of Indian and Lebanese cuisines, I can tell you Al Saray does not disappoints.
There are 2 stories and though a little small on the first floor, it doesn't feel cramp at all. The size do not take away the intimacy of the atmosphere and it makes me feel extremely comfortable and exudes a certain class of elegance to it. Absolutely love it.
The staffs manage the restaurant very well. The staffs that serves our table knows their stuffs very well. My friend and myself were very please with the services provided by the staffs. Food doesn't take too long to arrive. I like it that they served us apps and waited for a perfect comfortable period of time before serving all the main dishes. Really well done.
We ordered Al Saray salad Masala chicken Lamb rogan josh Lamb curry Plain naan Briyani rice
Salad was very refreshing and really a good dish to start off with. Briyani rice was very flavorful and I will always order it every time I dine in here. I like to eat my rice drenched with curry! Masala chicken was very well done. The thickness of the gravy is very well balanced. The long grain basmati rice helps to hold onto the gravy well enough.
My favorite of all the curry dishes is the lamb rogan josh. Its so rich in flavor without overpowering my palates, and yet is so complex in its flavors. Served with lamb chunks which is cooked to level of softness which i live it!
Really recommend anyone and...
Read moreA totally new mouth experience since this is my first time having Lebanese foods. The restaurant looks very fine and elegant with detailed decorations of the Arabian theme. The whole place is scented which for me a bit too strong at first and was pretty hard to breathe but after about 10 minutes then it was okay.
The foods are very colorful and served in very nice plates. The taste is not as strong as the colors and the looks, mild and light which is great for beginners who want to try Indian foods. However, those who love strong taste might be disappointed. I recommend the cheese nan along with Malasa which has a stronger flavor and goes very well with the cheesy 🧀 nan.
This restaurant is opposite Central Complex Silom (you can park here, the first 2 hours is free on weekends and 1 hour free on weekdays with 30 baths/hour fee) and right next to Saladaeng BTS station. The staffs are very helpful please do not hesitate to ask them helping you order. The price here is quite reasonable regarding location, decorations, quality,...
Read moreOne of the branches in Bangkok. The taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine. The place is narrow but well decorated. It's a 3 stories building with the 2nd floor as semi party room and the 3rd private dining room. The restroom is on the 3rd floor so you will see it all when you are travelling upward, haha. You shouldn't choose the seat next to the glass door because this place isn't sealed. There's quite a gap in the glass door and that the air and dust all the pollution from outside will passed you first. Despite the other area being so chill my seating was warm to hot.
The food some of them is excellent some of them is too much on the sour side like the fried chicken wings. Some say hummus is great but it's not for me (not only this place but others too. It felt like kinda yoghurt thingy). Their kebab and their meat is amazing. The big platter is what you must try. Their bread their curry all is great. But their meat shwarma is too beefy smell for me. So yeah. Butboverall the place is good. You should experience...
