The good: Location is perfect. Near BTS sala daeng, mrt Silom, near Siam, Yaowarat... There some mall (open 10:30 to 21:00), small 7 11 across the road, and some street foods street open really late... (And some pharmacy store, convenient store, massage... around.) There a public space in hostel, where you can hang out and serve your self free instant noodles and coffee. They have a hot/cold water dispencer, a big great point. The not so good: The receptionists don't open 24/24. So be careful when you check in late, the elevator don't work after midnight either. (You need to keep your key to use elevator.) The sound - proof: Although the hostel is near public train stop, and in the same building with a bar; the only sound which annoy me is from the next room bathroom lol. If you are not sensitive with noise, you can still sleep well. The facilities are not so new but still acceptable with that price. And they don't clean room everyday unless you ask.
General, with that price, this hostel is suitable for a reasonable trip with young friends and couple. Not recommended for family with children and elderly.
P/s: The bar next to this hostel is a gay bar. So, when night is late, there a lot of hot hunks and...

While I was in the bathroom, two girls staying in my room stole money from my bag. One was watching me while the other went through my things. Yes, I take some responsibility for leaving my bag on the bed under the pillow, but this clearly shows that theft is a real issue here. People with bad intentions seem to have easy access, and safety is definitely not a priority at this hostel.
On top of that, during a critical moment when I had an urgent appointment at the consulate, my important documents got locked inside the locker provided by the hostel due to a broken lock. I immediately informed the staff that I couldn’t afford to be late, and that the appointment was extremely important. Despite this, they responded very slowly and acted like they didn’t care at all. It honestly felt like they were intentionally delaying things.
Eventually, they broke the locker open, but when I returned, the staff looked annoyed and didn’t want to assist me any further. Their behavior was cold, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate.
This hostel is unsafe, the staff is unhelpful, and they show no care for their guests. Avoid this place...
Read moreAwful experience.
I stayed two nights. Both nights I had trouble sleeping, as the loud music and partying next door was constant and disruptive.
In addition, there were two friends who returned to the dorm at 4:30 AM and disrespectfully talked out loud as if they owned the room. There is no visible sign asking people to keep quiet in the dorm, nor does staff advise guests – upon checking in – to refrain from talking in the dorm as anyone could be trying to rest or sleep.
With regard to staff, there’s an older lady at the counter who is awful and rude. I had asked for the Wi-Fi password (which was not given to me at check in). She then asked me for my room number, and when I couldn’t recall it and looked for the keys — she visibly got angry widely shaking her head as if I had committed a sin. I find it funny that someone like her would have high expectations of people when she runs a sloppy operation, and she herself is poor-mannered. She’s the first rude Thai person I’ve met across multiple visits and interactions with locals. Other reviews speak to the same rude lady, so it’s unfortunate she’s a problem that will remain. Go elsewhere; there are other better options at this...
