Came here again but unfortunately, the food was not up to the standards.

Ordered a salmon belly and requested to be grilled a bit more due to a lot of fat contained in the belly. Even tho I told the waitress about my request, they still served me salmon belly half cooked. Sent the dish back to the chef and they complained about it. They used the burner to cook the belly, they didn't even put the fish back on the grill.

They also served our dish to another table and we never get that order and have to cancel the order due to the long wait, no apology from the waitress.

Very dissatisfied and probably not going to come back.

One of the hidden gems in Bangkok for izakaya.

The quality and the freshness of the fish are outstanding also acceptable price. Love the grilled salmon belly, pair well with Japanese rice.

Service might be slow on a busy day but understandable.

The best experience and cusine of Japanese gourmet! Fresh fishes and oysters, that's make everything soooo delicious! I love set menu which they have various side dish and difference for each day and so much fun to see what wil you have for today! This remind me of the time when I travel to Japan and enjoy their local restaurant! you can not experience something like this from japanese restaurant in department stores.

The service are great, even their age which might take thing slow, but they are not! they super eager to serve and handle customers! what a lovely elder lady 🥰

Most grill fish would use cook with traditional japanese style, so it might take some times to be ready (around 15-30 mins), my recommend is that enjoy another dish and relax with draft beer while waiting for grill fish to be ready for serve! if you rush too much, they might be to hurry to serve you a fish and it wasn't cook well enough which I found...

I came there to have dinner, because of high rating on google maps. Still, I would say - nothing special in this place. Just ordinary Japanese food, decent, but not delicious, as what I was expecting following this izakaya’s high score. Looks like this place is ok for office lunch times, but you don’t need to include it in your route as something extraordinary. Green tea for 50 thb - just like hot water, no taste. Crab in omelet for 240 thb - tasted like pork a bit. Salmon set for 500 thb - generally ok. They didn’t bring dessert that I ordered. Maybe all of that happened because the staff was in rush - they close at 22:00, not at 22:30 as was stated in the schedule on maps. And that means they really close and everyone should finish their food by this...
