Khong Prasoet Crispy Pork — Restaurant in Talat Noi Subdistrict

A bit hidden away from the busy streets of Chinatown, we found this little gem in a small alley.

The old lady serving us was super helpful with the menu and when we paid she even gave us extra small change while warning us from the local cab drivers.

The food itself was super cheap and very tasty. We tried the pork belly and some chicken. The dishes came literally right away, just after we ordered. The pork was very tender, but also had a beatifuly crisp skin. The gravy was delicious and the cilantro fresh. Before ordering, you can also take a look the variation of meats stored behind glass at the counter.

Of course, don't come here if you expect luxury seating. It's a place you want to go to eat...

Tasty crispy pork, sausages and roast pork rice. Most waitresses don't speak Eng but what meat you see on display is what you eat on rice (can mix 2 or 3 options together if you like). Plus there are soups (chicken, pork n lamb) that's good to accompany the rice. The price is of average of its kind. Limited by its cost, it is difficult to expect more quality. The dishes they served are still better than average, considering similar dish served elsewhere in Bangkok. On the technical point, the sauce was so dominated. In order to improve, decrease the thickness, sugar and the intensity of its sauce will open the way for the topping to show their flavors...
