I went to heaven on earth cafe with 4 other friends. The place that has 2 floors was without any customer. We asked to sit upstairs they did not allow us. So we sit down on the ground floor and we ordered 2 coffe. After few minutes the owner invited us to order at least one drink each one otherwise we should have gone away. So I complained saying that the place was empty without customers, he should say thank you to us to have chosen his cafe but if we don't order one drink each one could not stay? He confirmed that so I paid and we went to another place. This is not a complaint but just my experience...

I must say I am truly amazed at the deco and vibe of this lovely little cafe, tucked in an almost obscure corner of Chinatown, away from the maddening traffic.

If you're looking for good Thai coffee, pastries and a cool, quiet place to chill out - this is it. The boss Mr Chan is very friendly, obliging us by answering our almost neverending barrage of questions.

You must try the coconut croffle here. It's heavenly! Also, try one of the cakes on display - they're made fresh daily.

And oh - the entire shop is Instagram-worthy, so make sure you snap all the...

Beautifully decorated, old fashioned dessert café right opposite the Chinatown gate. We came across this place looking for a coffee that costs less than 100 Bt. Not an easy find in area where most cafés with seating seem to double as Instagram spots and charge obscene prices. Here a cappuccino, though misspelled on the menu, goes for 69 Bt and is actually pretty good. Not the bitter roast you often get in cheaper Thai cafés, but smooth...
