Local Thai food.

We took around 7-8 different dishes from the menu. All of them, without exception, were excellent. Big menu, a lot of options to choose from. Menu in Thai & English.

Value for price - 4/5, prices are a bit higher than the average Thai resturant, but the quality is real great, so it was worth it.

Atmosphere - a place to go with friends and family and share some food. There are a lot of tables & staff to serve. Simple place.

Parking & WiFi - no organize parking as far as I saw, you park on the street in front of the resturant if there are spots. Didn’t try their WiFi.

Phuket does these "what's a restaurant doing here?" places very well. Located on the Koh Kaew - Kathu mountain road and seemingly in the middle of no-where. Serious menu with emphasis on proper local dishes but locals priced. This was a team lunch so of course the girls go mad on the sea-food. Putting aside the fact I am not a massive seafood fan I thought the food was good, fairly priced and well-presented. The Moo Hong was a drier style but all the better for it as much less fat. Food was scrumptious especially the Scald Wing Shells (pronounced as Hoy Chuck Teen), one of Phuket's specialty dish. To me, Crispy Smoked Dried Shrimp Chili Paste was average but a half slice of lime was served in the set as an obvious choice to add more sour.
