AB HOUSE - Burger & Steak — Restaurant in Talat Nuea

The place was fine. The staff was fine. My problem was that I was very hungry and excited to try the lamb burger, but it was just mediocre to me.

The texture of the patty was a bit rubbery. It almost reminded me of when you bite into a fishball. I think this is an easy fix though…don’t grind the lamb down so much and maybe a little less egg in the meat.

Also, the flavor wasn’t really there for me. I think this needed more feta and maybe more veggies with a bright dressing (I would do tomato and shredded lettuce with a simple lemon vinaigrette). A little more salt in the patty too because it was hard to taste the lamb. And honestly, I think the flat top should be hotter and cook this for a shorter time…it should have been more pink inside but it also needed more of a char on the outside.

I got the Waygu burger and my gf got the Cajun Chicken burger, both were phenomenal! YOU NEED TO TRY THE BACON I cannot emphasize how good that bacon was, if I hadn’t been full and wanted dessert I would have ordered a side of it just to eat plain. The orange smoothie was fresh and delicious, the fries were good. The Oreo cheesecake was so good, me and my gf ordered one to share, took a bite and immediately order another, both lasted mere seconds on the table. The cheesecake is almost like ice cream but with that cheesecake density and an amazing cookie on the bottom.

If after reading this review you don’t go try it I honestly don’t know what to say to you other than good luck finding something as good as this that isn’t Thai food...

Ok this place is a MUST TRY PLACE. Wow the salad was so fresh and the dressing and feta just topped it off, so delicious. Every burger from the Wagu, lamb, black Angus, and vegan burger was top notch. Everyone loved their burgers. My sister could tell the vegan burger was freshly made. My daughter got the sausage platter and wow all the sausage was delicious. Yes, its a small place but definitely our favorite. The owner very friendly and we loved his passion about his food that he served, it shows he loves feeding people quality delicious food, good portions at a good price.
